It was a near perfect location for our five person Family. I preferred this location because it’s quieter, and it would be impossible to find a better view than the one from our hotel balcony. Recently remodeled room was the size of a small apartment with a massive wrap around balcony. We are definitely coming back and we found the staff to be very gracious and welcoming.

Very nice wooden house hotel, located opposite Grindelwald Church, about 3 bus stops from the train station. You can take the 121, 122, 123 free buses to get there. The bus interval is about 10-20 minutes, and it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the train station. The interior of the room we were given was old, but the bathroom had been renovated. The breakfast was rich, the service was also very good, and most importantly, the hotel itself was located near the First Interchange Station, with a superb view, just like climbing a dream.

It's great, the best hotel experience since coming to Switzerland. The room is very large, with an inner room, and the balcony has a mountain view. The style is traditional European wooden style. The service was also very warm, patient and polite. We also had a dinner at his house, which included 4 courses and cost 49CHF per person. It's a little far from the train station, about a ten-minute walk, but it's worth it!

great stay, very friendly staff. it is a typical Swiss chalet hotel. some of the rooms have been refurbished with a more recent look. clean, convenient, quiet, near the busstop Kirche. great food, some examples included. Tesla and other EV charger available.

My wife and I loved waking up to breathtaking views from our room, which opens to a huge balcony. Their breakfasts were great, and staff were extremely friendly and helpful ... They went above and beyond to male sure we enjoyed our short stay in Grindelwald.

The owners and all the staff were great, super helpful and thoughtful. Lovely location and would return to stay there again. An enjoyable time throughout the three nights I stayed.
