The staff are wonderful - kind and accommodating. They speak English well and provide great The hotel is more modern and the breakfast was great - lots of options with an egg/omelette station. The location is very central. The price was affordable and the quality exceeded the value. I highly recommend!!

Very nice stay in this hotel. Closer to the bus stop (last before the Titlis Cable Car Bahn) than the carpark is to the Titlis Bahn.
Good breakfast both continental and cooked; fresh baked/cooked egg options.
Everything as expected and hoped.

The review is not for Hotel Central instead for their inhouse restaurant. Didn't stay at the hotel but had couple of group dinner at the restaurant during stay at Engelberg. The group dinner was pre-booked with time slot. Both the days, Indian buffet were served which had decent options of bread, rice, veg and non-veg dishes including chicken and fish. The foods were tasty too. The restaurant has a comfy ambience and seems to be busy dining place. Overall satisfying dining of Indian cuisine at Engelberg.

The hotel does not have a hot water kettle in the room. One male restaurant staff did not allow me to bring a cup of hot water from the restaurant to my room. He threatened me to be fined $500 if I spill water on the carpet or break the cup. He was so rude he should not be working in a hotel!!!

In fact we didn't stay at the hotel but we had our lunch before moving towards Mt. Titlis.. we were very much surprised to find our Gujarati/ Indian delicacies Shrikhand and Khaman in our plate.. All items were yummy.on inquiry we found that for an Indian group tour they entrust Indian chefs and they work under Spice Bazar name.. fantastic..we all 44 group members loved our lunch..

Way too noisy. Balcony renovations outside our window loud, room over bar, loud. Hotel was kind enough to return the cost of our stay.

We had a great stay at Hotel Central! The hotel is clean, well appointed, comfortable and welcoming. The staff was great - friendly and helpful. The basement ski room was a great feature. Loved the water pressure in the shower after a tiring day on the mountain. Great location near the center of the village - just a two-minute walk to the Bahnhof to catch the free shuttle bus to Titlis - very convenient. Also close and convenient to restaurants and shopping. The only thing that would have (slightly) improved our stay is if housekeeping stocked our room with more packets of coffee and creamer. We would definitely stay at Hotel Central again!
