Hotel opened in 1970, renovated in 2012. In this mini-hotel 12 rooms, 3 floors.

Always a pleasure to eat there. Great food and food choices, enough to cater for all from swiss traditional, homnivire and vegan. Great and friendly staff. Wonderfull view of the Hahn from the terrace. If you are in Engelberg I can highly recommend.

Very good value for money, tasty breakfasts, very friendly and competent service, clean, comfortable mattresses, balconies, ski room and free parking under the shelter for guests - this distinguishes this hotel from other facilities. The location has its advantages, it is not in the center, but the bus will take you to the gondola itself, and the evening walk to downtown takes 10 minutes. I suggest choosing rooms from the street because those from the backyard face the garbage sorting plant and sometimes it is noisy. Forgotten about beautiful views, which thanks to glass windows you can admire lying in bed. We did not find any defects.

First I must say the rooms are extremly clean- that I really loved. Food is good too.
The staff tho is not able to handle extraordinary situations: The heating system broke down in my room and all I was told when I called rhe reception that she must now take care fir the guests who ordered dinner- and left me with cold water and no heating in my uber clean room. At the second call after 1 I have been told that they can fix it tomorrow but they wd provide me additionaly blankets!
Staff is always at it's limit whether they serve breakfast, check-in or dinner.

Pretty much the same everywhere, here in the mountains: nice clean place, polite service, great meat, forgettable vegetables, served with a side of Rösti or fries. Overall a good impression.
