Great hotel. Location is perfect. Quiet but close to everything. Walking distance to the beautiful water front Ascona and old town. Close to many touristic sites that you can teach by boat, train, bus or car.

I wish I could give a more extensive review about this hotel, but after 6 emails, twice confirming the reservation I was left without a room. I'm the first to accept errors happen from time to time, however how they faced the problem they caused it's the root of this matter. "Sorry, pay at another hotel" is by no means even close what a service based industry should do. So if you are looking for a staff (manager) that is able to provide solutions, stay away of this hotel, or your weekend will be ruined.
