Comfortable hotel in a well-known spot in Locarno, very close to the town centre. It is on the slope on the way to Madonna del Sasso, can reach either the town or the convent in 10-15 mins by foot. Good hotel, well located with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. Rooms are being renovated, with a large walk-in shower, coffee machine, kettle for tea and water, and a minibar with complimentary items! A very positive surprise for an economical hotel. Stayed in the "Cinema" rooms for less than CHF100 per night. Beds were very comfy and the rooms had a good size. Giving this a 3 because the air conditioner didn’t work and staff only gave us a bottle of cold water. This is an important issue during warmer times and it disturbed our sleep. Fantastic location and the lake view from the balcony is amazing

Perfection with one glaring issue: DOGS Amazing stay, loved it, it was literally perfection with the expedition of so many people allowed with dogs at the restaurant it seemed a bit off and kinda off putting but other than that would stay again. And highly recommend.

There is no water heater in the room, and I won't give it if I ask for it. Parking is inconvenient. The bathroom is not good, there is no place to hang towels. There is only one curtain in the shower

Parkhotel Delta is located in a more quieter area of Ascona, however we still managed to walk to the Piazza of Ascona in about 20 mins time and by car maybe 5mins only. The hotel provides free parking for guests and a shuttle svc to train station and city center too. Everything was perfect. Stayed there for 2 nights and received a free upgrade since the hotel was not booked out. Downtown area, our stay was on a separate building so it was an apartment building not a hotel room. It was ok but no air conditioning. Would not recommend for summer hot days.

Accessing the property is difficult. Street parking is very hard to find, and the road design in Locarno makes it harder to navigate. The rooms also have no AC. It can be very loud at night to open the windows because it’s at the plaza.

Very nice hotel with good location close to sea and to train station. Discovered too late that GF bread must be ordered in advance. But why don’t they have some in the future. On the booking site you get the impression that room has balcony, but in reality only French balcony.

We are here right now and the best part about it is the location. It is situated right in the middel of the train station, the promenade and the town square. Located just outside of Locarno, this is the perfect hotel for a Ticino vacation. A friendly welcome, clean rooms, and a breakfast buffet that leaves nothing to be desired. The pool with loungers is another plus. I would happily recommend it.

Last year for the summer season and also winter season they organised latin dance parties. It was amazingly fun. A huge amount of people were joining at this party. charming hotel, front desk guy was SO helpful & nice. it is hard to find - i stopped at a pharmacy to ask for location, they didn't know & it was about 3 minute walking beyond. to find it, you can walk from the train station (10-15 min) towards the main plaza, keep going almost to the end. on the right tucked in the back, after the shops, is the entrance. only complaint is no tv channels in english...

Quite old, but renovated hotel with nice view, swimming pool, sauna and excellent breakfast. You will be served with various tasty sorts of cheese and their own grape. Very diligent and polite staff puts a lot of effort so that their guests feel cosy. Downside is poor public transportation and limited parking lot that is against surcharge.

Quiet place. Nice point of view. The room we've got was clean and fully renovated. But the owners have to think to renovated the rest of the hôtel. The bar under the Hotel is owned by a really unpleasant and impolite old woman. We prefered to go to the beautiful bar down the road.
