The location of Eden Rock is simply amazing, with the lake right at your doorstep and a beach that’s hard to beat. It’s stunningly beautiful, and you can easily spend days just taking in the view or making use of the stand-up paddles and kayaks provided. Breakfast was another highlight – a thoughtful selection, not too big but just right, with excellent quality products that we truly appreciated.

Beware when staying here. The AC in rooms is preset at 24 C with the ability to reduce the temp only by up to 3 C....netting out at 21C best case. Generally it did not work so our room was always about 23C, which for my family is too warm. Also the restaurant in evenings is absurdly overpriced and the food not great...they focus more on presentation than taste. The town is great so if you stay here...

The hotel & staff are wonderful! The view is amazing! But, we could not open the door to our room 2/3 of the time. The key lock needs to go keyless!

The hotel offers beautiful views of Ascona, the lake and the mountains. It has a heated swimming pool and a beautiful garden. The rooms were very clean and welcoming. Right on the water with a great vibe, I stayed here just one nigh, but would have liked to stay. The location is unbeatable, 10 mins from the water. This is a boutique hotel in the truest sense. Normally I have stayed directly On-The-Go promenade but spontaneous try-super! More quiet and near to everything for those who can walk 5 minutes. We didn’t need parking but we’re pleased to know places are available. Will come back. A beautiful setting right on Lake Maggiore. Our room was spacious, had a refrigerator and coffee maker which we appreciated. The staff at the front desk were wonderful and very helpful with answering questions. Breakfast was very good and there are great hiking options nearby.

Perfect location in Ascona. We had a good sized room with a lovely view of the lake and promenade. Each floor has a different colour theme we were on the top floor which was red. We finally found a room available for a few days; it's best to book in advance. It's very centrally located. The staff is very friendly and happy to help with any problems. We had a very good meal in the hotel restaurant; same goes for booking in advance. And our car was finally allowed in the elevator.

I finally got to stay at Riposo again. It's definitely on the upswing. Beautifully decorated rooms in the attached hotel. Very central and still quiet. Many rooms have a great view. Parkhotel Delta is located in a more quieter area of Ascona, however we still managed to walk to the Piazza of Ascona in about 20 mins time and by car maybe 5mins only. The hotel provides free parking for guests and a shuttle svc to train station and city center too. Everything was perfect. Stayed there for 2 nights and received a free upgrade since the hotel was not booked out. The view from our room is outstanding!! The location is just perfect, 5 minutes walk from the Main Street and the lake. Room is just perfect as well as the bed. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn’t the fact that we had to pay 12 euros for the parking and on *******, it was mentioned included.

Just a quick review to say that the staff here is fantastic and very very helpful. Wife left her watch in the room and they promptly mailed it back to our home. Not for nothing but the views are also incredible.

As always, we were given a very friendly welcome and the stay was very pleasant. The specially reserved parking space and the check-in and check-out worked out well. A very nice gentleman introduced himself as the master of the house and was very uncomplicated and accommodating. As always, we are happy to come back, as we have done for years👏👍

Very centrally located hotel. Rooms in a clean condition, usual standard. The only thing we missed was a kettle to make tea in the evening, but that's just a side note and not a criticism. Even though the rooms are a bit old - especially the bathrooms - they are very clean and functionally furnished (including the bathroom). Everything works. The reception is very warm and courteous. There's nothing to complain about with the hotel, the staff, or the breakfast. It's a 499-step walk to Ancona. We had to get a taxi to Locarno. But that wasn't a problem, since the reception was open 24 hours. We had a great time at the hotel.

Tamaro is excellently located in the heart of the old town, just by the Lago Maggiore along with the promenade and plenty of restaurants nearby. Pretty Loved the room and setting, but the mattress was quite hard and was not aware I would be on the third floor after climbing several flights of garden stairs. My suitcase was quite large, I was offered help so it was no problem. It just would have been nice to know!

It's a calm and quiet place tucked away. The staff here is super kind. They're the definition of hospitality.
