The location of Eden Rock is simply amazing, with the lake right at your doorstep and a beach that’s hard to beat. It’s stunningly beautiful, and you can easily spend days just taking in the view or making use of the stand-up paddles and kayaks provided. Breakfast was another highlight – a thoughtful selection, not too big but just right, with excellent quality products that we truly appreciated.

Beware when staying here. The AC in rooms is preset at 24 C with the ability to reduce the temp only by up to 3 C....netting out at 21C best case. Generally it did not work so our room was always about 23C, which for my family is too warm. Also the restaurant in evenings is absurdly overpriced and the food not great...they focus more on presentation than taste. The town is great so if you stay here...

Beautiful property in excellent location

The hotel is perfectly located in Ascona facing lake. The proximity of the restaurants, the stop of the boat , the playing ground made our short vacation very special and enjoyable. On top, the hotel has a nice spa area with swimming pool, sauna, massage table, fitness room. We enjoyed all of it and will come again!

Make sure you get a lake facing room with a balcony and so on as I just stopped off for a nap and just took a sungle room without balcony but the view was spectacular through the window. There's nothing to complain about with the hotel, the staff, or the breakfast. It's a 499-step walk to Ancona. We had to get a taxi to Locarno. But that wasn't a problem, since the reception was open 24 hours. We had a great time at the hotel.

Normally I have stayed directly On-The-Go promenade but spontaneous try-super! More quiet and near to everything for those who can walk 5 minutes. We didn’t need parking but we’re pleased to know places are available. Will come back. We were in a 2nd floor room with small balcony. 2 patio chairs and great views. We ate at the hotel's restaurant on the lake which was fine dining. If you have half board, you only have one choice of a main meal, which is unusual. It was not a problem for us but could be for others.

Beautiful location. Very nice staff: friendly, caring. The room was clean and due to wind weather they even brought an extra heater. Breakfast without excess, but everything is very fresh and delicious. I was very pleased with the hotel.

Nice rooms, clean and comfortable. They offer a nice and yummy breakfast. The rooms don't have air conditioner but we opened the balcony and we had a fresh breeze coming in and a nice view. We were looking to the lake and although we have a neighbor windows with smoking people from the neighbors house it was no so bad.

My boyfriend and I stayed for 1 night at the Jazz Hotel. Self check in and check out is very easy and useful. Location is great, breakfast area was lovely with nice terrace and good choice of food. The staff was friendly, kind and welcoming. The room had a nice balcony, only thing I'd improve are the pillows which were a bit too slim/soft for our liking. Everything else was good.

Online check in, online check out. You are able to get the key for your room at any time! Good location, you only need to walk about 10 minutes to the lake. Breakfast was okay as well. Unfortunately we had no AC and only a fan but I think it was in the hotel description. If you stay longer as 2 days you are probably better with a room that has AC. But I still recommend Hotel Jazz

When traveling I look for small hotels with excellent personal service. This hotel did not disappoint. It's a family run establishment that has been there for three generations. The decor is topnotch. The restaurant is excellent. They even accommodated my husband's food intolerance to onions and garlic.

Would give more than 5 stars if possible. Cozy and spacious rooms, a beautiful rooftop view and pool, and delicious dinner - but most of all, the service was incredible. Extremely attentive, helpful, and proactive staff all around. You get a 5-star, luxurious hotel experience for a reasonable price. If we ever find ourselves in Ascona again, will absolutely be booking a room at the Art Hotel Riposo

The view from our room is outstanding!! The location is just perfect, 5 minutes walk from the Main Street and the lake. Room is just perfect as well as the bed. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn’t the fact that we had to pay 12 euros for the parking and on *******, it was mentioned included.

Just a quick review to say that the staff here is fantastic and very very helpful. Wife left her watch in the room and they promptly mailed it back to our home. Not for nothing but the views are also incredible.

As always, we were given a very friendly welcome and the stay was very pleasant. The specially reserved parking space and the check-in and check-out worked out well. Very centrally located hotel. Rooms in a clean condition, usual standard. The only thing we missed was a kettle to make tea in the evening, but that's just a side note and not a criticism. Even though the rooms are a bit old - especially the bathrooms - they are very clean and functionally furnished (including the bathroom). Everything works. The reception is very warm and courteous. We went to stay and it was amazing. I could not thank the owners and staff enough for going above and beyond and making the stay 5*. I felt at home as being Swiss myself and the room was beautiful and immaculate. With the food and the adjoining restaurant on the Lago it was perfect with all dietary needs met and no communication barrier.

Was in Locarno-Ascona region last month for two nights with my wife. Tamaro is excellently located in the heart of the old town, just by the Lago Maggiore along with the promenade and plenty of restaurants nearby. The ferry service stop is less than a minute from the hotel, the nearby bus stop is also few minutes walk, the Ascona Lido(beach) and the parks are also close by. Rooms are too good, wide...

You can choose from all pizzas on the menu and decide to take the ‘black’ dough. I can really recommend this, I’ve never had a black pizza before. A beautiful setting right on Lake Maggiore. Our room was spacious, had a refrigerator and coffee maker which we appreciated. The staff at the front desk were wonderful and very helpful with answering questions. Breakfast was very good and there are great hiking options nearby.

Great newly renovated hotel. Just a 6-7 min walk to the Plaza or to Ascona golf Club. Very friendly staff. We came early and were able to leave the car at the hotel and walk down town. Would highly recommend the hotel. Practical if you arrive with a car. This is not the choice if you need a hotel with a fantastic view.

A great find! I don't review hotels very often but this one impressed us especially for the price. Our room was huge, with a nice little balcony and a modern bathroom. The buffet breakfast had a good selection and it's quiet but nicely close to the center. Service was also friendly. Everything is clean and modern. I stayed at the Parkhotel in July with my husband and 9 year old daughter. It was lovely! The pictures do not do it justice - the hotel is so much better in person. Parkhotel Delta is located in a more quieter area of Ascona, however we still managed to walk to the Piazza of Ascona in about 20 mins time and by car maybe 5mins only. The hotel provides free parking for guests and a shuttle svc to train station and city center too. I had a single room, it was very spacious. The buildings and gardens are beautiful. Fantastic to have 2 pools that you can actually swim in (although weather was too bad on my visit for the outdoor one). Lovely to have the outdoor bar as well. Would strongly recommend the hotel. Only problem I had was having a shower over the bath as the water always went to the floor (why are so many hotel showers...

Everything was perfect. Stayed there for 2 nights and received a free upgrade since the hotel was not booked out. The staff was always very friendly and could communicate either in Italian, English or German. Dogs are also very welcome. Facility is nice, quiet area and close to the walking trail at the river/lake. Restaurant offers great cooking and breakfast is also nice. Overall a very pleasant hotel

The location is great, the facilities are simply great. From the rooms, to the restaurant, to the bart and the wellness area. It was my third time there and will not be the last for sure.

Best chef 👨‍🍳 ever in the world Da Jean Pierre. You eat one time there u have to go back.
