Dellavalle in Locarno

Quite old, but renovated hotel with nice view, swimming pool, sauna and excellent breakfast. You will be served with various tasty sorts of cheese and their own grape. Very diligent and polite staff puts a lot of effort so that their guests feel cosy.
Downside is poor public transportation and limited parking lot that is against surcharge.

Single room was small but very comfortable (1 week with half board). The food was delicious. The half board includes a 4-course menu in the evening. I don't eat meat and the boss Mr. Zimmermann made it possible for me to get a delicious fish or vegetarian alternative every day. As for the service staff, I would particularly like to thank Roswitha and the ladies from the breakfast service, who were all very attentive and friendly despite being very busy. The gentlemen are welcome to take an example from this. The entire hotel area is beautiful with a huge garden and a small pool. I would love to come back and recommend you to all my friends.
