The hotel is right on the lake, a fantastic location.

Very friendly and accommodating. Super central location. A great starting point for various mountain hikes in the area. Excellent public transport connections.

Nice location - easy walking to train, along lake ( both directions) and dining options Older building needing some upgrades (eg outlets for the floor lamp and coffee maker!) Lobby a bit tight, and understaffed at checkin.

The hotel is nice but a little bit old. The carpet is in an awful state. Except from that the rooms are big and clean.The breakfast is excellent with quality products. The situation by the lake but fairly close to the train station is excellent. I recommend it

Older property that seemed worn in areas, especially hallways to rooms. Breakfast buffet was plentiful, but not tasty at all.

Nice hotel, conveniently located on the lakeside, close to the train station. Rooms, facing the lake, are spacious and clean. Good amount of amenities. I enjoyed the Nespresso coffee machine (real coffee, not the instant one). Staff was friendly and competent, helped us a lot by answering all the questions we had

Fantastic location and the lake view from the balcony is amazing

Perfection with one glaring issue: DOGS Amazing stay, loved it, it was literally perfection with the expedition of so many people allowed with dogs at the restaurant it seemed a bit off and kinda off putting but other than that would stay again. And highly recommend.

There is no water heater in the room, and I won't give it if I ask for it. Parking is inconvenient. The bathroom is not good, there is no place to hang towels. There is only one curtain in the shower

The room, view, staff and breakfast were exceptional! The quality of food served at breakfast is really uncommon - everything was delicious.

Very nice hotel with good location close to sea and to train station. Discovered too late that GF bread must be ordered in advance. But why don’t they have some in the future. On the booking site you get the impression that room has balcony, but in reality only French balcony.

We are here right now and the best part about it is the location. It is situated right in the middel of the train station, the promenade and the town square. That also means it can be noisy as the sound from the restaurant below and streets come up but that is ok thus far. Other positives - + coffee machine + upgraded to balcony with a bit of a view on lake maggiore + clean room Then - It is no one...

We had a great stay at the hotel. Particularly noteworthy was the friendliness and helpiness of the ladies at the reception and at the breakfast buffet. The hotel is excellently located in the center and is easily accessible, clean rooms and a good service. We will be back for sure.

Nice hotel in central location. Nice hotel in a marvellous central location. The rooms were quite new and even if its 15m2 it feels very spacious. The breakfast is great for a 3 star hotel. Only downside was the outside noise still late in the evening / night coming from the surroundings. We went here earlier and we didnt notice it, but this time (Fri/Sat) the youth was hanging around and making lots...

Nice Hotel in centric location, fair priced, nice staff. Close to lake and shopping and eating. Abit loud if you are towards the street and parking is in a public parking. Great breakfast incl. with great view.

We had a fabulous stay at this charming hotel. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Great rooms and wonderful service. Super friendly staff. Good pool area and really wonderful breakfasts.

The hotel is in a quiet, residential area, a short distance from Locarno centre, but very close to the lake and Minusio train station. The staff are very friendly and professional. The pool and garden area are very relaxing in the afternoons. The Ticino tickets provided by the hotel are great for using public transport - particularly the bus into Locarno or to go to Ascona.

Excellent hotel, nice clean rooms, spacious balcony overlooking the lake or the beautiful well-tended garden, quiet location close to the lake. Great assets in addition are the availability of bicycles and proximity to a small train station. Very friendly and attentive staff.

Just a beautiful place!! The rooms are very clean, have everything you need, even a towel rack on the balcony for your pool towels. The staff is wonderful and work very hard. Breakfast buffet is excellent! Excellent location. Walk to train station 5 minutes and town is 20 minutes along the lake. Very pretty. The outside is so pretty and pool is heated, very clean. The staff is always running around...

Just loved this place!! Very classy and well organized/runned! Beautiful! They thought of everything! The place is adorable. The room was great and overlooked the pool. We did reserve a room with a view of the water but really couldn't see it.and a high floor but got 2nd floor which was fine. Beautiful little courtyard. They gave us a complimentary glass of prosecco and some snacks when we arrived...

Beautiful hotel, very accommodating hosts, breathtaking view

We've been to this wonderful place many times, in every season, and it always feels like coming home. Even our dog feels right at home. Ms. Brechbühl is an outstanding host: attentive, friendly, flexible, and she anticipates our every need. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the view is magnificent. We'll definitely be back!

I booked 2 nights on short notice in order to spend Swiss National Day in Locarno and to go sailing on Lake Maggiore. The service is very friendly, the room is beautifully appointed, we had great views and overall we enjoyed a wonderful time. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel main entrance, so its easy to get around. It was easy to get taxi’s. There is a popular restaurant next door with...

the gorgeous view when even from bed, the great hospitality, the space of the room, the privacy, the balcony, the interior, the breakfast! we will definitely come back here again if we are back in this town!

A very lovingly run small hotel with a fantastic view over Lake Maggiore. The hosts are very friendly, helpful, and do everything to make you feel at home. Our dog was also very welcome. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything you need. We also loved the privacy on our terrace (room 12). We would come back anytime!
