Nice location - easy walking to train, along lake ( both directions) and dining options Older building needing some upgrades (eg outlets for the floor lamp and coffee maker!) Lobby a bit tight, and understaffed at checkin.

The hotel is nice but a little bit old. The carpet is in an awful state. Except from that the rooms are big and clean.The breakfast is excellent with quality products. The situation by the lake but fairly close to the train station is excellent. I recommend it

The hotel's location was fantastic!

Older property that seemed worn in areas, especially hallways to rooms. Breakfast buffet was plentiful, but not tasty at all.

Friendly staff, very good breakfast, lake "right on the doorstep". I'd gladly come back again. Only drawback: the coffee machine in the room didn't work.

Comfortable hotel in a well-known spot in Locarno, very close to the town centre. It is on the slope on the way to Madonna del Sasso, can reach either the town or the convent in 10-15 mins by foot. Very nice hotel, nice staff, very good and quiet situation. Very confortable bed, nice terrasse with 2 jacuzzi on it, also sauna/hamam (inside) very nice brekfast, a lot of choice. Restaurant (dinner) is according to us not on the level of the hotel.

Perfection with one glaring issue: DOGS Amazing stay, loved it, it was literally perfection with the expedition of so many people allowed with dogs at the restaurant it seemed a bit off and kinda off putting but other than that would stay again. And highly recommend.

There is no water heater in the room, and I won't give it if I ask for it. Parking is inconvenient. The bathroom is not good, there is no place to hang towels. There is only one curtain in the shower

Great stay in Locarno Lovely room with TWO balconies, view over lake. Easy stroll from station (7-8 minutes, with luggage), immediate access to all- old town, restaurants, funicular to Madonna del Sasso etc, ferries for lake trips,. Staff totally helpful and engaging. Great stay for three nights before stunning train trip to Domodossola .

Nice location Stayed one night. Comfortable and easy access to the train station. There is a closet to store luggage if you arrive before check in. Breakfast was wonderful.

I stayed at the Parkhotel in July with my husband and 9 year old daughter. It was lovely! The pictures do not do it justice - the hotel is so much better in person. The grounds are just immaculate with stunning views and plenty of space to explore. We stayed in one of the apartments - which was modern, clean and lovely. Parkhotel Delta is located in a more quieter area of Ascona, however we still managed to walk to the Piazza of Ascona in about 20 mins time and by car maybe 5mins only. The hotel provides free parking for guests and a shuttle svc to train station and city center too. I had a single room, it was very spacious. The buildings and gardens are beautiful. Fantastic to have 2 pools that you can actually swim in (although weather was too bad on my visit for the outdoor one). Lovely to have the outdoor bar as well. Would strongly recommend the hotel. Everything was perfect. Stayed there for 2 nights and received a free upgrade since the hotel was not booked out. The staff was always very friendly and could communicate either in Italian, English or German. Dogs are also very welcome. Facility is nice, quiet area and close to the walking trail at the river/lake. Restaurant offers great cooking and breakfast is also nice. Overall a very pleasant hotel

The location is great, the facilities are simply great. From the rooms, to the restaurant, to the bart and the wellness area. It was my third time there and will not be the last for sure.

We had a fabulous stay at this charming hotel. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Great rooms and wonderful service. Super friendly staff. Good pool area and really wonderful breakfasts.

The hotel is in a quiet, residential area, a short distance from Locarno centre, but very close to the lake and Minusio train station. The staff are very friendly and professional. The pool and garden area are very relaxing in the afternoons. The Ticino tickets provided by the hotel are great for using public transport - particularly the bus into Locarno or to go to Ascona.

We did reserve a room with a view of the water but really couldn't see it.and a high floor but got 2nd floor which was fine. Beautiful little courtyard. We had the most amazing stay. Could not have asked for more. The owners and all staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fabulous and the Restaurant also. Our rooms were directly at the pool. Beautiful decor and so clean. Will definitely go back. Nothing negative to say st all.

My wife Isa and I spent our 2 weeks vacation in the Tertianum of. Of these two weeks I can only announce positive. Room, food, cleanliness and hotel management was all excellent. A special praise deserves the staff. Absolutely friendly, helpful and competent.
