The view of the lake from our room was amazing. The hotel staff was friendly (Marco at check-in was great), and the room was extremely clean! Lovely amenities with a hand written note from manager

This historic hotel is modernised to a high standard. It is very clean and comfortable. We had a lake facing room with a balcony and the views were magical. The staff were helpful and friendly

The restaurant serves high quality food and is popular. The funicular railway is nearby and this saves walking up the steep hill into the town. The hotel has its own request stop

Hotel has their own carpark, with access either in the driveway, or in the interior carpark behind the building. We had no issues with the carpark. The hotel staff were very attentive and helpful

Rooms were nice, and we were in the new wing. Nice room overlooking the lake. With young children, note that there are a number of sharp corners in the room, so please take extra care

The reception was friendly, and I received a good introduction. The signature Thai massage in the spa was a real highlight—very professional and relaxing. The sauna area was unfortunately very small and far too dark

The manager was rude, and they don’t actually have parking (it’s based on if they have room that day but zero advance warning we needed to arrive super early to get a spot) so you just drive in circles til you find public parking

While the whirlpool area was attractively decorated, the strong chlorine smell was unpleasant. The room was spacious and exceptionally clean—one of the cleanest hotels I've ever experienced

I have been coming to this hotel for 12 years and I love how I always get the same room I love the restaurant and the pools and find everything amazing

Perfection with one glaring issue: DOGS Amazing stay, loved it, it was literally perfection with the expedition of so many people allowed with dogs at the restaurant it seemed a bit off and kinda off putting but other than that would stay again

Nice hotel, conveniently located on the lakeside, close to the train station. Rooms, facing the lake, are spacious and clean. I enjoyed the Nespresso coffee machine (real coffee, not the instant one)

I didn't stay at the hotel but popped in to hear the piano player and sample the ice cream. Oh, and the waiters are nice too, the decor tasteful and the doors suitable for letting us in and out

Rooms and bathroom were vet clean and good size, great views of the lake from private balcony, and close to train. The staff were super friendly, helpful and accommodating

The pool/snack bar was certainly overwhelmed during the peak days and seating was limited and service hard to get - so may have just been a staffing issue. BUT everything else was so lovely we would definitely stay again

All of the room options are very close to the main lobby/pool area. Breakfast buffet was great and pool so nice. Although in the summer we did need to get down early to grab pool chairs before they were all taken

The front desk was friendly but somewhat limited in being able to suggest good restaurants in town. My only complaint is the restaurant and bar staff tended to always come across stressed and rude

Maybe it was because we were American (although we used our limited German) but the service was definitely not as friendly for what I'd expect in a hotel of this caliber

Probably one of the most child friendly hotels we have been in Switzerland. Excellent facilities and huge green park to play table tennis, soccer , Minigolf, swings and even toys

I stayed at the Parkhotel in July with my husband and 9 year old daughter. It was lovely! The pictures do not do it justice - the hotel is so much better in person

The rooms are modern and very clean. Still in the middle of the night, the is really friendly and very quick. A beautiful lake is 200m away.

+ nice and clean + late check-in + good breakfast + both private and public parking + good location - the room was extremely small - no shelves in the shower - our breakfast was interrupted by a woman who demanded showing the receipts (although we paid just before the breakfast and also showed our GPs)

Absolutely closer to Swiss hospitality than anything else. I’ve had issues with service at Italian resorts over the years, but I have nothing critical to say of the service here

My stay here reminded me of what hospitality should be. Each and every member of the staff went above and beyond to make sure my stay was seamless and enjoyable

The staff are fantastic and made us feel very welcome. The views from the room and terraces are spectacular. We hadn't planned on eating here every evening but anywhere else would have been a disappointment

If I had to change anything immediately, I’d remove some of the more kitschy accents like on the bottom of the pool or the cartoonish room names. In my opinion it cheapens the ambiance - Service was great throughout

I especially appreciated each of their good nature - incredibly kind and warm people. The views are stellar, rooms are very generous in size and the pool and gardens are serene

During our trip to Switzerland in May 2024, the 2 night stay at the Villa Orselina was the climax. The rooms with balcony were large. Food was simply superb with several exquisite complimentaries from the kitchen

Quite old, but renovated hotel with nice view, swimming pool, sauna and excellent breakfast. You will be served with various tasty sorts of cheese and their own grape

The gentlemen are welcome to take an example from this. The entire hotel area is beautiful with a huge garden and a small pool. I would love to come back and recommend you to all my friends

We stayed here over New Year's and booked half-board. The welcome at reception was very warm. On New Year's Day, we were offered a generous lunch buffet. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious

The hotel is located near the train station and a few minutes' walk from the city center and the lake. If we have the opportunity to come to Locarno again, we will definitely stay here again

There is a popular restaurant next door with beautiful views of the lake. The room we were in, was spacious [suite 31]. The pool is not equally accessible to all rooms, as its on level -4 right in front of other rooms

The service is very friendly, the room is beautifully appointed, we had great views and overall we enjoyed a wonderful time. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel main entrance, so its easy to get around
