I have been coming to this hotel for 12 years and I love how I always get the same room I love the restaurant and the pools and find everything amazing

The Hotel is, without a doubt, one of the finest hotels we've had the pleasure of staying in. Everything here exudes quiet luxury – not the flashy kind, but the kind that whispers “old money” and glides rather than walks

There's a sense of space and privacy throughout – you can truly relax here, and that’s becoming harder to find these days. If we had to point out one, it would be this: with great luxury comes a certain kind of guest

Never fussy, always flawlessly timed, the staff knows when to appear and assist and, more importantly, when not to. The rooms? Spotless, polished, and so well maintained they could pass for brand new

Breathtaking property with professionell staff that were always very attentive. DAVIDE from Concierge Was extremly helpful at all times! His recomemdations in the City was really great

We took the e-bikes to the City and back. The beach Bar was out of this World. Breakfast spread was very good

We had a great time with our 3 year old. Very family-friendly including a playground and sand box outside, pool, kids play room, and kiddie breakfast buffet. The free breakfast had a huge variety, and good coffee too

The hotel is nice but a little bit old. The carpet is in an awful state. Except from that the rooms are big and clean. The breakfast is excellent with quality products

We had a great time here, location is amazing (~5 minute walk to Locarno train station and to Piazza Grande). The pool was nice, not crowded at all and very relaxing.

The staff were extraordinarily helpful, and we were provided with free bus passes for our journey! Lots of restaurant options nearby

We didn't try the food at the hotel restaurant (only open for dinner), but we did get a drink once

Nice view, breakfast is good and everything is very clean, but we not try the swimming pool bcause not have time

Rooms made noises we could not explain (pool pump ran through the night?) Decor a bit "cold", and bathroom had the shower head mounted on chest height (this is common for Italian hotels, to be fair, but annoying for any North European)

Chack in dosent speak one word in English but its really good Hotel! The room is big and clean, the price is good, breakfast is pretty rich ( in swiss stantrads), very kind and warm servise.

Big and comfortable rooms, friendly staff and moderate breakfast. Ask about discount for local places(~30%) and transport tickets (free) at the perception

Arrive and feel at home! It's a shame we were only here for the weekend! It was a wonderful stay, not least thanks to the attentive, friendly, and welcoming staff. A small menu by the pool offered delicious food

Located just outside of Locarno, this is the perfect hotel for a Ticino vacation. A friendly welcome, clean rooms, and a breakfast buffet that leaves nothing to be desired. The pool with loungers is another plus

We spent three nights at this hotel and everything was perfect! The pool is lovely, the breakfast was varied and delicious, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout our stay

The breakfast was fantastic: wow! Some much larger hotels could learn a thing or two from them! The beds were incredibly comfortable! The rooms were beautifully furnished and decorated

If you enjoy spending hours with friends in the balmy air, sipping a genuine Italian espresso or a Martini Royale and chatting, or if you prefer to read a book or write something on your Laptop, this is the place to relax in a cosy, communal atmosphere

The rooms are clean and the prices are relatively reasonable, but it is advisable to book early and online. You can have brunch in the Hotel-café on the piazza in the morning, but this is charged separately

The staff are very friendly and attentive. All in all, highly recommended for an affordable short break in the Locarno-Ascona region. The breathtakingly beautiful Centovalli area is just 10 minutes away by bus/train

The Hotel America is located right on Locarno's wonderful Piazza Grande. Here you can enjoy Mediterranean piazza life to the fullest

Absolutely closer to Swiss hospitality than anything else. I’ve had issues with service at Italian resorts over the years, but I have nothing critical to say of the service here

My stay here reminded me of what hospitality should be. Each and every member of the staff went above and beyond to make sure my stay was seamless and enjoyable

The staff are fantastic and made us feel very welcome. The views from the room and terraces are spectacular. We hadn't planned on eating here every evening but anywhere else would have been a disappointment

If I had to change anything immediately, I’d remove some of the more kitschy accents like on the bottom of the pool or the cartoonish room names. In my opinion it cheapens the ambiance - Service was great throughout

I loved it, would have enjoyed the pool

This historic hotel is modernised to a high standard. It is very clean and comfortable. We had a lake facing room with a balcony and the views were magical. The staff were helpful and friendly

The restaurant serves high quality food and is popular. The funicular railway is nearby and this saves walking up the steep hill into the town. The hotel has its own request stop

Buy tickets at the hotel as they are cheaper. We enjoyed a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the Belvedere Hotel

While the room's style felt a bit outdated, it didn’t detract from the overall positive experience, as everything else was excellent. The bathroom was modern with great shower pressure

The hotel is central, on the main square in Locarno, and close to the lake. Checking in and out was efficient. The hotel also has a restaurant but we didn't eat there

This simple, budget hotel is very good value for money. It is clean and comfortable, if a bit old. The breakfast buffet was also good value for money

This family-run hotel has everything we needed: comfortable room; generous sized bathroom; lovely linens and towels; excellent restaurant with a diverse menu; parking and important for us accommodating for our two dogs

We stayed here over New Year's and booked half-board. The welcome at reception was very warm. On New Year's Day, we were offered a generous lunch buffet. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious

The hotel is located near the train station and a few minutes' walk from the city center and the lake. If we have the opportunity to come to Locarno again, we will definitely stay here again

The pool/snack bar was certainly overwhelmed during the peak days and seating was limited and service hard to get - so may have just been a staffing issue. BUT everything else was so lovely we would definitely stay again

All of the room options are very close to the main lobby/pool area. Breakfast buffet was great and pool so nice. Although in the summer we did need to get down early to grab pool chairs before they were all taken

The front desk was friendly but somewhat limited in being able to suggest good restaurants in town. My only complaint is the restaurant and bar staff tended to always come across stressed and rude

Maybe it was because we were American (although we used our limited German) but the service was definitely not as friendly for what I'd expect in a hotel of this caliber

Probably one of the most child friendly hotels we have been in Switzerland. Excellent facilities and huge green park to play table tennis, soccer , Minigolf, swings and even toys

I stayed at the Parkhotel in July with my husband and 9 year old daughter. It was lovely! The pictures do not do it justice - the hotel is so much better in person

The pool and garden area are very relaxing in the afternoons. The Ticino tickets provided by the hotel are great for using public transport - particularly the bus into Locarno or to go to Ascona

Just a beautiful place!! The rooms are very clean, have everything you need, even a towel rack on the balcony for your pool towels. The staff is wonderful and work very hard

Lovely weekend in Locarno It exceeded our expectations! We had a small apartment, and the hotel was centrally located yet very quiet. Everything was perfect!

I’d like to keep this hotel a secret so we can always stay here without fear of it being booked-out. I think this has to be our favourite holiday accommodation ever

Lovely clay tennis courts are just across the street, and within 5 minutes walk you have parks, cable car, LIDO (gym, swimming-pools, lake beach), Termal Salty SPA (one of the best in Switzerland) and a centre (Old town) of Locarno

Hotel offers buffet breakfast of good quality (maybe not a lot of variety, but all is really fresh and tasty), they have little beautiful garden with a swimming-pool

Most of the rooms have no air-con, beware. The view is good, but beware the noise from the street. The restaurant does not work in the evening. The concierge is at the desk from 7 am to 7pm

There is a popular restaurant next door with beautiful views of the lake. The room we were in, was spacious [suite 31]. The pool is not equally accessible to all rooms, as its on level -4 right in front of other rooms
