Boutique-Hotel REMORINO in Locarno

We stayed at Hotel Remorino for one night and had a very pleasant experience.

We needed a room quite last minute, and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The late check-in process was smooth, with very clear instructions, which we really appreciated.

Parking is included, which is very convenient. The rooms are very nice, cozy, and well maintained.

In the morning, breakfast was excellent and very well organized, with a great selection.

Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t the best, so we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor pool — but it looked beautiful and we would definitely love to try it next time.

Overall, a lovely stay and we would happily come back!

We had a fabulous stay at this charming hotel. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Great rooms and wonderful service. Super friendly staff. Good pool area and really wonderful breakfasts.

The hotel is in a quiet, residential area, a short distance from Locarno centre, but very close to the lake and Minusio train station. The staff are very friendly and professional. The pool and garden area are very relaxing in the afternoons. The Ticino tickets provided by the hotel are great for using public transport - particularly the bus into Locarno or to go to Ascona.

Excellent hotel, nice clean rooms, spacious balcony overlooking the lake or the beautiful well-tended garden, quiet location close to the lake. Great assets in addition are the availability of bicycles and proximity to a small train station. Very friendly and attentive staff.

Just a beautiful place!! The rooms are very clean, have everything you need, even a towel rack on the balcony for your pool towels. The staff is wonderful and work very hard. Breakfast buffet is excellent! Excellent location. Walk to train station 5 minutes and town is 20 minutes along the lake. Very pretty. The outside is so pretty and pool is heated, very clean. The staff is always running around getting things done. I would come again!

Just loved this place!! Very classy and well organized/runned! Beautiful! They thought of everything! The place is adorable. The room was great and overlooked the pool. We did reserve a room with a view of the water but really couldn't see it.and a high floor but got 2nd floor which was fine. Beautiful little courtyard. They gave us a complimentary glass of prosecco and some snacks when we arrived. The room was stocked with a little refridge and everything was complimentary in it except for the liquor. There were 2 apples and a muffin and some cookies on the little table in your room. They supply robes/slippers, shampoo and conditioner, dryer for you. Not many places in Switzerland give you toiletries in the room (we stayed at many places too). The pool is heated and very clean. This place was the best. Walkable to the water and little town (old town), Restaurants. Staff was very accommodating. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff works very hard. They also give you a pass coupon that allows you free transportation/buses/trains in that area. Most places do; you just have to ask for it. Places close early. A good 20 minutes walk to the town along the water.

The room was spacious with a stunning view of Lake Maggiore and the surrounding mountains. We enjoyed breakfast on the sunny terrace overlooking the lake, which was a delightful experience and the perfect way to start our day. The outdoor pool and tranquil garden had a peaceful setting for our relaxation. Above all, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to return!
