Arrived between seasons and the skiing was not open but was able to ride the gondola and enjoy the great mountain setting. i imagine when the snow covers the mountain it would be fun to ski. it will take a couple good storms to cover the rocky mountain. The rooms are dated with stiff spring mattress but the blankets are nice and very clean. The wifi worked great for using the interpreter app.

In summary, an ok Hotel, a unique experience and of course the only option in town.
Pro:
- they do take credit cards
- there is one younger lady at the front desk who speaks some English
- rooms are ok. Clean, with plenty of hot water, I felt the temperature from the heater was very comfortable (I stayed in January)
- it has a unique Soviet charm to it. It's an experience
- 5 minutes walk to the Lift, you can ski to the hotel
- breakfast was basic but ok
- they sell sodas, energy drinks and a few snacks in their restaurant
To note:
- reservation was weird as I didn't see them on any booking site and my experience was that they do not respond to messages on say IG, it seems you either have to call them (if you get the young lady on the phone , all good) or message them on what seems to be a private Russian number (that my local guide gave me, since I think it's private I don't want to share it here). No deposit etc they just write your name and the dates down it seems. I would add that I am certain you can just show up during weekdays (weekends not so) as the huge building only seemed to have a hand full of guests during the week at peak season in February

- there is a spa facility and rental was 450 (about 45 USD) I feel pretty expensive. Though it's for the entire facility and for 6 people.

Most horrible stay in all Tajikistan. We were 2 people and paid 750 somoni for 1 night with breakfast (weekday offer on weekends its more than 1000 somoni for same solution). The room was a bit outdated (sofa was not cleaned for years I guess) but warm and ok for 2 stars solution. What was really terrible was breakfast. We came at 8am and nothing was ready. We were told we can not choose our breakfast and they will bring us what they have.
In 15 minutes we received tea pot and piece of old bread which was almost frozen.
We asked about coffe and we were told no coffee options included non even 3 in one coffee. We need to pay 40 somoni to receive a cappuccino (we ordered and paid and receive cold weak small sort of coffee with milk and water- terrible).
We were sitting there already for 30 minutes when 2 tiny pancakes arrived (only 1 for person) and no jam or Nutella or fresh fruit included as seasoning. For 2 people 1 piece of canned plum and 1 spoon of smetana which will be not enough even for 1 package.
But we did not know that the worst was only about to arrive. Menu included rice puding (overcooked rice in water with 1 spoon of butter inside not even clear if it was supposed to be a salty or sweet dish) . We sended it back and told if we can have at least another 2 pancakes. They bring us them but did not tell us that they will charge them (2 dry pancakes no seasoning at all 20 somoni). After this last part of breakfast arrived after we were siting for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Sort of egg omelet with sausage (probably left overs from previous night barbecue and really not possible to be eaten because so fatty that even the smell was giving nausea). So we paid 75usd for 1 night stay in old room and spend 1 hour and 20 minutes waiting for food on breakfast which should be free for pay another 10 usd for 2 horrible coffee with milk and 2 dry pancakes without seasoning with breakfast which should be included inside the price of the room. Never again! Or please bring your own food and coffee:-)))

The rooms are hot hot hot. My family and other families were unable to sleep. The management of the hotel does not understand that the rooms are too hot and won't turn the heat down. Also, the hotel and the ski resort facilities do not accept credit cards, so bring cash.

do anybody know, if the Hotel/Skislopes/Cabin is open these days(24.01-28.01.23)...?!

Many things are good, but what lets it down is that, for skiing/snowboarding, there is a bunny slope, a red run and a black run, but nothing like a blue run, so it's very hard for beginners to move on.
