Ras Kutani in Dar es Salaam

Built on a beautiful lagoon, this lodge is absolutely amazing! First time I had such a particular natural experience in Africa. We slept in the sounds of nature and of the sea. They took care of every detail in the room and in the activities you’d like to do. They made a fire on the beach for us! You can kayak on the lagoon. And... the cuisine is the best, light and tasty. Recommended for couples or for who wants to rest!

The place offers breath-taking views, serenity, clean and safe beaches. Simply defines the value of life.

Great place for some r&r. Staff is incredibly attentive, beach is great, facilities are excellent and the food is as well. Hope to be able to come back here!

One of the best lodges in Tanzanian coast which I have visited. Nice long beaches, clean water with some spots to snorkeling (hotel is renting gear). They have some kayaks which you can use on small fresh water lagoon. Staff and management is very good, friendly and helpful. Very relaxing place to stay for couple of nights.
