Bahari Beach Bungalows in Jambiani

This place was amazing - clean rooms with good wifi + AC + hair dryer and it was right on the beach. The food was also really good! The host, Stefania, is from Italy so their pizza and pasta was delicious. She was very kind and welcoming, we had a super late flight and she let us hang around and use their bathroom + shower until we had to leave! I would definitely stay here again!

This was the most perfect place to stay in Jambiani. The rooms the food the staff/owner everything was so nice, and the price for all this $87 with breakfast.

We stayed there for 6 days and the staff was the nicest, in the end as I came to the counter for lunch and said “one Hawaii pizza please” -for the 6th time, me and the staff giggled for ourselves.😇

The owner is an Italian woman and is very professional and nice. One evening we said to her that we were travelling to Stone town afterwords, she continued into her office and found a map and showed all the points of interest and where the best coffee was.😇

I could go on about this place even further but you should really try this place if you have the opportunity!

PS. Forgot to mention that the head chef is the mother of the owner and makes the best pizzas 🍕
And also pastas. As you would think an Italian mother would.😇

We spent more than two weeks travelling around Zanzibar, staying in various places and visiting many sights and restaurants – and we can say with conviction that our stay at Bahari Beach was the best. It is a wonderful place among all the different options – Stefania and her team create a warm, relaxed, cheerful and friendly atmosphere.
Not only was the food great and fresh, but the team was also very hospitable, attentive and courteous. The entire grounds are very well maintained – from the garden to the houses, furniture and restaurants to the small details – everyone helped out and took care of everything.
It is located directly at the Beach and in the Middle of Jambiani Village. We had the great pleasure to attend the Heritage Village tour - a guide showed us the village, various housings, a spice garden, and explained the history of the village. We attended a workshop about coconuts learning about the various options how to use it and cooked with a local family - thanks for organising this amazing insightful experience !

We come here every week for pizza – and it’s always a delight! Whether it’s seafood, prosciutto or salami, the pizza is consistently delicious and of excellent quality. The service team is friendly and attentive and the owner personally greets every guest, which makes the experience even warmer and more welcoming. :-)

Excellent service, a lovely setting on the beach very peaceful with a beautiful view, my husband had cheese burger with bacon, excellent he said, I had a tuna pizza it was very big and very nice,very reasonable priced, looks a lovely place if you wish to stay here.

Impeccable stay and experience at this place. The place is run by a family led by Stefania. Rooms are excellent, location is right on the beach. Food quality is top tier, and I would recommend their pizzas and pastas. The hospitality by the staff is remarkable. We rented a bungalow for 3 pax for 4 nights and we were absolutely amazed by the location and the attention from the staff of Bahari Pizza Restaurant. The bungalows are clean and cool and the service at the restaurant is impeccable, food is of excellent quality and beers properly cold. Having a delicious morning breakfast right on the beach is unbeatable and a massage at sunset time is the perfect way to end your day. In between, just swim, read and walk into the crystalline sea. Congratulations to Stefi and her team, we really came back thinking that this is as close as we would imagine paradise to be!

Amazing beachside location. Minimalist, clean & comfortable tropical rooms. The food was beyond impressive with the freshest ingredients & quality. Impeccable service from all staff members; the hostess, Steffania is the most pleasant & sweetest.

A magical resort run by Stefania, an Italian, and her mother, Ester, cooks the meals. Beautiful bungalows just steps from Jambiani beach. The love with which Stefania runs this paradise shines through every moment. The staff is also superb. It was very difficult to leave!
