Costa Village Bangsaray in Ban Bang Sare

​Had a wonderful 1-night stay with my mom and our pup. The location in Bang Sare was perfect for our quick trip. The hotel is truly pet-friendly, and the staff (plus two adorable cats) gave us the warmest welcome.
​Our 55 sq.m. room was huge, clean, and wide open. I loved that they have a designated walking area for dogs right beside the building. Don't miss the 8th-floor swimming pool—the view is fantastic!
​The location is also super convenient. It’s just a short walk to the sea and the beach. A little further down, you'll find plenty of seafood restaurants, a 7-Eleven, and tons of street food options. Would absolutely love to come back.

It suited our needs well for a budget one night stay. For what we paid my expectations were low.

Pros:
- Quaint Greek Style building rather than boring square apartment block
- We got it very cheap
- Nice views all around
- Nice rooftop pool, although small
- Smart TV, although slow
- Free wifi
- Decent size room for the price

Cons:
- Aircon definitely needs cleaning, had to put on full power to make it cold and was noisy
- Lift was slow and it was quite busy, but manageable
- No restaurant service, even though it says all day dining on their website. They offer a pre-order breakfast and they sell some packaged food (chips, ice cream, etc)
- No garden or common area to chill apart from the pool
- You definitely need your own transportation
- Parking was packed

Overall very good if you need to be in the area for a short period of time or explore around there by yourself on a budget, but it's probably too isolated for foreign tourists and has not much facilities.

The place looks nice but feels like they initially aimed for higher market which the location just does not justify. They now seem to focus on the budget market which might be reason for lack of upkeep and the lower service level, but was good enough for us.

Cracking boutique hotel. Rooftop pools, jacuzzi on balcony although didn't use that.
Aesthetic feels almost Greek-island with the whitewash buildings and blue domed roof.
Great value, and barely 4min stroll to beachfront. You can also use their bicycles which are 'rustic' but fun!
