If you're looking for a spot with real character, Silom Village Inn is it. The location is perfect tucked away enough to be quiet but just a quick walk to the BTS and surrounded by amazing food. The staff were super welcoming, and for the price, the value is unbeatable. Definitely my go to base in Bangkok

Convenient location, close to tourist attractions, quiet, but the rooms are old.

It's near Wat Khaek (Mariamman Temple), close to restaurants and 7-Eleven, in a bustling area. Not as scary as I thought, it's right in the city center. You can walk to Surasak BTS station in a short time. There's plenty of food, both Thai and Indian, and a mall nearby. Also close to Banthat Thong.

The room was horrible. Water seepage in the room. Smelled bad. The hotel was completely run down. I left and found another hotel

The property was in a dishevelled state, and the room was so dirty. The owners clearly were not concerned about cleanliness at all. There wasn't a proper reception, just an elderly woman who spoke very little or no English at all. I couldn’t wait to get out of the hotel room.

Keep your expectations low!
No hot water for the entire stay, the rooms are very tired and don’t if you stay…. Don’t expect the WiFi to work. For the price it is good value, but keep your expectations low!

Pleasent place to stay and it's in the middle of a buzzing city. Comfortable rooms and nice helpful staff. Lots of Restaurants around and plenty of street food and shops too. I would go back and stay there again.
