Morning Star Resort in Baan Tai

A small resort of wooden bungalows, a 12-minute drive from the island's port. There were four of us in the family room and we had a great time. The bungalows are quite rustic, but the location by the sea is truly beautiful. Breakfast is good, and the staff is truly friendly and helpful. Laundry service is available within 24 hours at reasonable prices. Scooter rental through a partner agency (which picks you up and drops you off at the resort) is available for 250B per day, provided you leave your passport.
Paid shuttle service to the island's port is available at a reasonable price.
Beach towels and snorkeling masks are provided. Bottled drinking water is refilled daily, and room cleaning is also available upon request. We didn't try the pool, but it looked nice. The only suggestion we can give is to better seal doors and windows, otherwise too many insects, including mosquitoes, would enter the room, as they are very numerous on the island.

When i entered here i feel like wowww this is exactly for my kind of vacation , a small lovely resort with pool by the beach and not many rooms in the reaort . Theres also gardena nd lots of plants . I just fall in love .... and yet the room i booked is Amazingggg !!! It's like a big view of the beach right infront of your bed it is so quiet and i realy enjoy listening to the wave and calm me into deep sleep . It is real healing time after stressful work and the anxiety of normal work days . I cant write enough of good thing about here i spent the whole day just staying in the resort and enjoyed it so much of peaceful vibe . The food and drink is sooooo good , it's another reason i wanna come back here , i had banana smootie i love it !! The breakfast is included and the Menu is like a choice where u see in 5 star hotel or in coffee club for example , i had Avocado toast and egg . The toast was made with sourdohgh bread and the plenty good amount of Avocado with optimal level of crispjness made it the best toast,yummy . Thanks sooo much to the lady she is so kind the way h coooked showed so much u care , and she made dinner of stir fried chicken garlic with so big piece of chicken haha 😄 . Im sorry i havent got chance to say bye and give u a hug though we havent talked much but i feel we connected theough your food . The last is room is super clean and the bed is comfy . The guy at reception and his dad is also very helpful . The price is worth everthing here . Hope i will come back soon. Thanks for everything. Love ❤️ 😍

I really enjoyed my time here the staff were super friendly and the property is located right on the beach and it has a pool which is an added bonus. The perfect place for a relaxing few days on a beautiful island. The staff were also so friendly and helpful during our time here we would highly recommend to anyone looking to chill out and relax for a few days.

Beautiful Resort style right on the beach 🏖️. Nice swimming pool and restaurant with a great breakfast menu. Can arrange transport and motorcycle/ car hire. My cabin was very comfortable and peaceful with a comfortable bed and great bathroom. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Good value for money and I would return here again 👍

I stayed few days with friends in a family bungalow.
Staff were nice, the amenities are goods, coffee is good aswell. Hot water and aircond.
Pool is clean and front to the sea.

A good place to stay for a few days in solitude.
Beach: Long, about a kilometer. The sand is not so white and quite large, but still not bad. I could not fully appreciate it because of the waves, but it is shallow, you need to walk a long way to deep water. Sunset side, you can contemplate beautiful sunsets.
Beach area: there is everything you need, tables, sun loungers. The hotel territory is very green, well-groomed. There is a swimming pool (I did not use it).
There is a cafe at the hotel, they cook tasty and inexpensive. Territorially at some distance from the nearest shops (15-20 minutes walk to the nearest 7/11 and mini-market). Far from all other locations. Only taxis, or rent a car / bikes.
Bungalow: it was a little scary. It looks unreliable (stamp your foot and the whole house shakes). In the bathroom, in the shower there is a smell of sewage. Very small in size, but nevertheless quite nice, like a Soviet tourist center, such an association came to mind. In general, if for a short time, then you can stay.

Really lovely hotel- the grounds are beautifully taken care of and the staff are so friendly. We loved the banana peanut shake and tried some of the food but it wasn't the best and made the most of surrounding restaurants. The pool is clean and the beach access is wonderful. Our room was super clean and staff were always on hand with anything you needed. We had an adjoined bungalow which was not very soundproof - sounded like people were in the room with us- but luckily over our 5 night stay, the two sets of guests who checked in as neighbours were never overly loud. Would deffo book again!
