Phuwadee Resort & Spa in Baan Tai

If you're looking for simple, affordable accommodation right on the beach, this is the place for you.

We were recommended this resort, but unfortunately, it didn't meet our expectations.

The furnishings provide all the basics, but there's nothing particularly comfortable here. The bed isn't particularly comfortable, and the curtains don't darken the room very well. Unfortunately, it wasn't particularly clean either, but it was adequate.

On our first night, we had ants in our bed. After reporting this to reception, they successfully removed them. Nevertheless, you can always expect ants on the floor. We had a cockroach living with us in the bathroom, which is to be expected.

Overall, this accommodation was adequate, but it's a bit dated.

Within walking distance (10 minutes), there's a small strip of restaurants and other amenities. However, you should be aware that you're further away from everything and the drive to town will take 30-40 minutes. A scooter is recommended, but driving experience would be advantageous due to the roads.
