Wonderful Stay Despite a Chaotic Travel Situation

Thank you so much to the whole team at Element Resort in Krabi. We finally made it back to Dubai after several consecutive flight cancellations due to the difficult situation in the Middle East.

During that stressful time, the resort staff were incredibly helpful and understanding. They assisted us with our unexpected daily extensions and even our sudden checkout without any hesitation. We truly appreciated their kindness and flexibility. They even refunded our last night because we had to urgently leave for Bangkok to catch another flight with a different airline.

It was a chaotic travel experience for us, but the resort made everything much easier and less stressful.

The place itself is beautiful and perfect for relaxation. The beach is nearby, and there are cozy restaurants around the area. The rooms are very comfortable, spacious, and well designed , even the standard rooms feel like a suite, all at a very reasonable price.

Most importantly, the staff are incredibly accommodating and friendly. They genuinely guide and assist you with everything you need. A special thank you to Joanna (or Joan) from the front desk who helped me so much, along with the entire team.

I truly loved my stay here and will definitely come back in the future. I highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Krabi.

This accomodation is good value for money. The rooms are spacious, the air conditioning is good, and it’s nice and quiet.

The resort is looking a little tired - for example, visible damage on the sun loungers, cracked concrete, in need of a repaint. However, the resort grounds are lush, with a lovely pool, and a very relaxing vibe. The breakfast was good for the price, and there was a 7/11 very close by. The restaurant itself was only ok. This resort is relatively isolated and there are not many other restaurants nearby in walking distance, unless you got a grab. It was about 20 minutes drive to Ao Nang and the grabs were usually between 200-400 baht depending on the time of day. Because of the location, it sometimes took 10 minutes or so for a grab to arrive, and sometimes only premium grabs were available.

This resort is good for people who want a quiet resort on a budget, and are happy commute into the main town.

The rooms were very spacious, spotless, and well maintained. It was clear that cleanliness and comfort are taken seriously, which made our stay very relaxing. The pool area was also lovely — clean, peaceful, and a great place to unwind after a day out exploring.
Breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of fresh options each morning. The location is also great, with a pleasant atmosphere and several good food options nearby. We especially enjoyed having dinner on the beach at some of the surrounding restaurants — such a nice experience in the evenings.
We had a rental car during our stay, and we would strongly recommend this. It gives you much more flexibility to discover all the highlights in the Krabi area at your own pace and really enhances the overall experience.
Overall, a very enjoyable stay!

It’s a nice and modernised resort with a nice pool area and restaurant.

The resort is minimum 10 minutes driving by taxi to the first nice and clean beach. The beachfront at the resort is not clean or suitable for swimming.

The restaurant offers diverse options but at higher rate, that matches the hotel aesthetic.

The staff speaks English quite well, compared to other Thai businesses. Many Russian clients here.

Room was spacious, Airconditioning was very loud and without remote control and poor wall mounted control without finetune features.

Child cot was available upon demand without extra charge and room was tidied every day.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel with our family. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and especially kind and playful with our kids, which truly made our stay extra special. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and cleaned daily. The quiet, peaceful location and lovely pool area made it very relaxing, and the breakfast was excellent with plenty of options for everyone. Outstanding value for money and easily one of our favorite stays in Thailand.

On the downside, the restaurant prices are a bit high. Also, the location is quite remote. There are two small local restaurants and a 7-Eleven within walking distance, but for more choice you need a taxi to reach the main village with more restaurants and bars. The hotel does offer free bicycles and scooter rentals are available nearby, but with small kids these aren’t really practical options.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it, especially for families looking for a quiet and comfortable place, as long as you’re aware that you’ll need transport to get around.

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff were so lovely and excellent and we were made to feel very welcome. Our room was spacious and well cleaned we would have enjoyed it more if there was some form of cushioning for the wooden platform on the balcony. The breakfast was varied and well stocked and again the staff were lovely and excellent. We ate dinner on 3 occasions in the restaurant and would recommend all the Thai food choices - delicious. The menu itself it too vast and need not be as freshness is key to a good meal rather than frozen ‘European’ food. We enjoyed several massages too. The pool was very big and the staff always on hand to provide good beach towels. We used the bikes a couple of times - the yellow ones need a bit of maintenance so best to use the lighter mountain bikes. The beach although in between 2 industrial jetty’s is very beautiful, and would be even more so if the rubbish/broken glass was picked up - the larger hotels do daily litter picking and it is sad to see the glass and detritus left around. The hotel itself is in need of a good power wash to bring out its best features. The lush landscaping however makes it very relaxing and pleasant to stay in. To get into town we used the shuttle bus was was very welcome but book early as limited on space. We used the Grab app as it’s 25/30 min drive to the night market at Ao Nang Landmark. All in all we had a good time there thank you Elements staff especially.

The location was great. Since it's in a busy area, noise was unavoidable. The breakfast and pool were great, and the staff were friendly! I was concerned about road noise, so this was the only downside. But if that's not a big deal, everything else was great!

Had a great time overall. The place is a bit outdated, but has a lovely charm and relaxing atmosphere.

Facilities: All necessary facilities are available, a little old, but it can be seen that the overall maintenance is very good.

Hygiene: Great!

Service: The service needs to be improved. I had a Thai massage, the massage staff was outsourced, and although I had made an appointment in advance, I still waited a long time before they arrived; the massage level was poor, the skills were hectic, and it was obvious that they were just coping. The price was twice that of the street, but the service was less than half.

Although the hotel is small, it has everything. Although you can't see the sea, there is a beach across the road in front of the door, with few people and beautiful scenery. The hotel is very exquisite.
