Rayong Resort Hotel in Ban Phe

This was a life-threatening personal safety incident, accompanied by ongoing medical trauma.

I booked a hotel advertised as being on 'Koh Samet' through Trip.com. However, upon check-in, I discovered that:
The hotel was not located on Koh Samet at all, but rather in the mountainous area of Rayong province, representing a completely different geographical and safety environment.
This critical information was not clearly or prominently displayed in Trip.com's search results or booking page. Instead, it was repeatedly recommended under the 'Koh Samet' keyword, severely misleading consumers regarding safety, medical accessibility, and overall risk assessment.

During our stay, I, along with two minors, experienced acute and severe **** reactions after consuming food provided by the hotel.
My condition rapidly deteriorated and became life-threatening in a short period. Ultimately, I was rushed to the ICU by ambulance that same night and entered intensive care.

During my ICU treatment, I underwent continuous and high-intensity medical interventions:

Approximately 6 blood draws were performed repeatedly within one day.
A PICC line was maintained in my left hand for two days and one night.
My veins are extremely delicate and sensitive to punctures. In this situation, repeated punctures and PICC line maintenance were not only physically painful but also caused severe physiological and psychological trauma. This experience was, for me, a true medical disaster.

As of now, I have personally incurred approximately 17,000 RMB in medical expenses (emergency care, ICU, repeated blood draws, examinations, medication, etc.). Throughout the entire process of my ICU admission, the simultaneous poisoning of the minors, and my experience of high-intensity medical trauma, the platform did not proactively contact me, provide any substantial assistance, or take any responsibility.

Even more shockingly, a post-incident review of the platform's comments revealed a long history of complaints about food hygiene issues and suspected **** at this hotel, indicating it is not an isolated incident. Despite clear warning signs, the platform continued to recommend this hotel without providing any risk warnings, re-auditing, or implementing measures to protect consumers.

After the incident, Trip.com's handling of the situation was completely disproportionate to its severity, focusing only on refunding the room fee. There has been no substantive response regarding the severe medical expenses incurred, the physical and psychological harm to the minors, or my ongoing medical and psychological repercussions.

This was not a service experience issue, but a serious personal safety incident caused by the platform's recommendation and auditing failures. I am writing this review simply to make other consumers understand that:
When traveling abroad, in the event of a major safety incident, a platform's recommendation does not equate to safety assurance. Ultimately, consumers might be the only ones to bear the consequences.

Last night for my girlfriend birthday we decided go for nice romantic dinner in this resort
Is 5 star resort so we expect fine food in their restaurant.
We ordered simple set, pork chop stake, and pizza with some desert.
After rezonable time waiting our food arrived.
So our pork chop steak which was ordered medium rare practically was raw and very bloody.
Sorry I m not in favor eating raw meat.
My pizza unfortunately was barely warm as was coming from freezer not fresh made.
Our dessert, banana split, haha was just ice cream as resort was out of banana. But they charge us for banana split.
So after all i pay almost 2000 bath for very disappointed food.
Sorry but we expected fine high quality food in this 5 star resort.
Very disappointed and not recommend.
For value of your money better go somewhere else
