Lake View Resort & Golf Club in Cha-Am

Lake View is an easy-going and pleasant course to play. The fairways are wide and forgiving, and water comes into play on many holes without making the round feel punishing. The layout is straightforward, the pace of play is usually relaxed, and the greens are fair rather than overly fast. It’s not a championship test, but that’s exactly why many golfers enjoy it. Customers who book through Fairways of Eden often choose Lake View as a calm, stress-free round during their Hua Hin trip, especially between tougher courses.

I played so far twice at Lakeview and both times I was positively surprised by the condition of the course. While some mentioned in the reviews they have been unhappy with the Caddies i cannot really agree with them. Only advise is, Golfers should know themselves how to read greens.

I would place their practice areas in the Top 3 in the Hua Hin, Cham area. Only suggestion to the club is to maybe install some sunshade at the driving range.

Apart from this the facilities are good, everything is clean and the place has a nice ambiance.

Unfortunately if you are located in Hua Hin, its just a much further drive than to other courses.

Golf course is fantastic but caddies really leave a lot to be desired. No enthusiasm and mostly indifference. Happy to talk to each other and give occasional distance but really put to shame by caddies at Palm Hills and Royal Hua Hon not to mention Black Mountain

I visited today just to play golf and have lunch.
There are a good number of fantastic holes at this course. Greens are inconsistent and fringes stop ball dead. This is a shame as this could be a great golf course. Organisation isn't great. I had a 9.50 tee time but couldn't go out until about 10.40 as they had no caddies. I had to ask for table service in the restaurant. Also, pretty much nobody speaks English which results in much confusion. But, if I lived in Hua Hin, I'd play it again because the layout of the course is superb.

It is a beautiful course. It was our 1st time playing there. We signed up 1 month membership for 4500 baht at the end of 18 holes. Our caddies speak English and they are cheerful. We walked 9 holes and hopped onto the buggy for our 2nd 9. Staff are very friendly.

Beautiful course, well maintained, friendly and competent caddies, beautiful green. Things to do when you go to Hua Hin. Reasonable prices, beautiful clubhouse and beautiful locker room. First time we were going to play this golf course in this region..

I've been staying here for over 15 years when driving back and forth from Bangkok to Phuket. When it was newer it cost 2,500 baht / night to stay there and it was worth every bit. Now it's older and Wifi not work good but they sell the well maintained rooms for less than 1,000 baht including breakfast. It's still a rock solid 4 star resort designed for wealthy guests from Bangkok coming to play golf back in the day when there wasn't so many golf courses. With exception of Wifi and a few small things, this place deserves much better than it gets for reviews. Compare that to all the roadside motels which charge 5-750 baht with no breakfast and there's no competition. Outstanding value at this price. But the good news is they're starting to rennovate room by room as well as replace the Wifi, when they get done it will be easily a 2,000 baht a night good value.
