Springfield at Sea Resort & Spa in Cha-Am

The hotel consists of three large buildings lined up along the beach. There is a large swimming pool, separated by a small road just before you get to the sea. The walkways within the hotel allow you to stroll around and enjoy the atmosphere; they are interconnected with slopes of varying levels and stairs throughout.
​I didn't sleep very well because I chose the wrong pillow, and the air conditioner kept interrupting, preventing me from sleeping through the night.
​What I disliked, and a first for me in terms of a hotel's problem-solving, happened in the evening. Around 6:15 PM, I was about to go down to the swimming pool, but suddenly the air conditioning and lights in my room went out. I called reception, and they sent an air conditioning technician to fix it. The repair took about 40 minutes with the technician going in and out of the room. By the time it was finished, the pool was closed. I mentioned this to the reception upon check-out; the hotel should have managed this situation better.
​As for the breakfast, it was adequate. The dining room is large with a good view, and the buffet line has a wide selection, which was good overall.
