Stayed in a studio-like 1 bedroom overlooking the pool and ocean! We were literally just steps from the beach.
The food and drinks on-site are fine, but there are quite a few choices of food if you take a leisurely walk down the beach. A handful of breakfast and coffee places are just a short walk or scooter down the road too.
The location is fantastic. Its mostly quiet and secluded during the day, and at night, you'll find tons of couples and families making their way down the beach to all the food and action (fire shows).
You're also steps away from your very own massage hut! It was amazing getting the massage of your life right on the ocean - hearing the waves break. Incredible experience.
If you keep your expectations in check - this is a fantastic value for any couple visiting Koh Lanta. Great place for 2-3 nights.

A perfect vacation spot. The only flaw I’d say is that the tide is extremely low mid day so you can’t really enjoy the sea. But this has nothing to do with the hotel. The staff is absolutely amazing, the villas and rooms are very spacious. We tried out both, the villas and the rooms. The staff is there to help with everything and it’s a perfect vacation spot.

Overall really good place to be , it was our choice to come on the end of rainy season but we didn't expect to smell damp all the time in the room. Few times we didn't have hot water and lamp exploded in the first night. That's why we can not give it more stars than that.
Would be nice to have coffee from machine instead of instant for breakfast.
Also, the place it is really dark outside from 8pm because all lights in garden and bar are off. You can easily miss when you walk on the beach. I think it is only because we came before the season starts. We were told that in November swimming pool is open longer(closed7pm) and bar is closed at 10pm not 8pm when we were.

We stayed at Andalay for 12 days at the beginning of April. My husband and I loved it! All staff are so lovely, welcoming and helpful! People say beds are too hard, I had the bestest sleep in ages! Beach is beautiful and all the trips can be organised for you by ladies at reception. 7 11 within walking distance. We are already hoping to return in couple of years time.

Location was pretty good, we could get to many places from it. Service was poor, staff were not friendly or helpful. They were nice to my boyfriend but not me, despite being friendly towards them. The beds were very hard and quite uncomfortable. The room itself was a good size for 2 people. They did not bring us new towels at all during our 5 night stay. It is a bit loud at night due to nearby bars/restaurants along the beach. The grounds and rooms could use some improvement in upkeep/maintenance. Our tv did not work and they couldn’t get it to work for us. I expected a nicer, more comfortable stay based on the price we paid to be honest. I don’t think it was priced appropriately honestly. We stayed at less expensive places during our 3 week trip which were much nicer. I wouldn’t recommend this for a long term stay, no more than 3 nights. One pro was that we could rent a scooter directly from them which was handy.

Wonderful Place to be! Great and friendliest staff! The breakfast was fantastic! Very helpful staff. The Pool very nice. Location amazing. My son and I will be back!!!

Everything about this place is perfect.....except the monkeys in the back rooms can be aggressive.

Excellent restaurant, after 2 weeks on Klong Nin, this is up there with the absolute bed. We didn't stay, just ate at the restaurant several times

Great deal! I think this place is fantastic. Nice clean and cozy rooms, small but very nice pool, super friendly staff and all by the beach! Location can’t be better. For my taste, breakfast can be better but it is decent and generous.
