Greates hostel I've stayed at in thailand. The host was really nice and the cats was awsome. It was also clean in comparison to the other hostels in this price range

Really cool place to stay with nice lounge and lovely cats around, owner is really kind, the only thing i would say is the ac isnt working great so it can get pretty hot but everything else was nice

My best hostel so far. I spent 3 nights here. The host is amazing! She is really helpful and friendly. The first floor is the co-working space during the daytime which is really useful. They have Filipino foods every Friday which is really tasty. Don’t miss it out!! Totally recommended!!

We booked a Bungalow in 2 Weeks for the second but not the last Time.....Cant wait to see the Family again. Great Ambiente, very Helpful, always a smile for every Customer. If u want to rent a bike? ask Mai. do u need a pickup from the Ferry? ask Mai.

Well worth staying at

Basic, but clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful hosts always ready to give useful advice. They deal with problems promptly. The complex is partly finished but the pool is accessible. Local area and road still under construction at the time of our stay. The lake forms a nice view from the balcony but I would not recommend getting any closer. Certainly don't consider swimming in it. A walk around the lake to the right will lead you to the Chaweng walking street bars and shops, once you get past the sewage works, you will see the local adventure parks and lakeside restaurants. The smell is only noticeable at certain points and you can't smell or see it from the KP Samui resort complex at all.

What is humorous is a that some of the expensive 'high end' hotels and restaurants are closer to the areas where sewage outfall is noticeable. You can get to KP Samui from 2 directions, both have local village houses, shops, market stalls and launderettes. If walking through the village at night be wary of the local dogs, they can be aggressively territorial. You should consider this if you have younger children.

You will definitely want transport to get to local amenities. The owners hire out motor bikes at what is the standard rate on the island. You will save little by shopping around.

The apartments and bungalows are close enough to the airport to be convenient without aircraft noise being a problem. There is more noise from the dogs in the village next door, but again, this is minimal. Aircraft noise is noticeable at Chaweng beach and the Bo Phut area which are within 10 to 15 ride away. If you like the YouTube videos of aircraft landing at St Maarten you will love Bo Phut. You are literally at the end of the runway when you visit the temple there.
