A nice small resort with bungalows around the swimming pool. Big room with aircon, hot water and a kettle with tea/coffee.
Just off the main road so its very quiet, a hidden gem and i will use this resort again on my trips to Lanta.
Restaurants, coffee shops, bars and a great ice cream shop are all within a short walking distance.

Aside from the toilet sometimes smelling bad, it's perfect for this price. However, the hotel has two lecherous dogs who only play with women and sleep outside the rooms of single women at night.

+ A minute's walk to the beach. But you'll have to walk a bit further to swim.
+ Two minutes' walk to the only 7/11 in the area.
+ There's a swimming pool.
+ Nice staff, they do everything they can, constantly clean the pool, and bring two bottles of water every day.
+ Price. There are many hotels nearby that are much more expensive.
Cons:
- The air conditioner in my room was old and noisy. But it did the job.
- The Wi-Fi wasn't always stable or fast.

The staff were so lovely and very helpful with booking excursions. We also rented a moped through the hotel which was super helpful for exploring the island.
The rooms were spacious and had a nice balcony. The bathroom was nice but door is in front of the sink that was a bit inconvenient.
The pool is a great size and very clean and perfect for a cool down. There were plenty of sun beds.
They also served food from 8am-8pm, the chicken fried rice was nice.
A 3 min drive from the nearest 7-Eleven and some nice restaurants nearby.

A family that hosted me wonderfully, helped me arrange a trip and a ferry for the crossing, were very helpful and kind, a cozy and comfortable bungalow with everything you need

Lovely location, only a 5 minute walk to the beach. The bungalows are lovely and spacious and has everything you need in them. I also liked that the bungalows weren’t too close together so you had your own space and privacy. The pool was relaxing and very well kept by the owners. Overall a very quiet place to stay if you’re wanting to relax near the pool I would highly recommend.

Clean, quiet space in your room. The territory and swimming pool cleans several times a day. You need to try this place, 2 minutes walk from the beach and shop 7/11. Highly recommended, nice owners that can do the possible as they can.

Loved my stay at Morakot
I stayed for 5 nights while i was working remotely.
The staff are just the kindest.
The rooms are cleaned every day and i had requested a quiet room which was kindly provided.
Laundry and food available in hotel.
Pool is lovely and only a short walk to Long Beach for an incredible sunset.
If would highly recommend Morakot and was sad to leave.
Also to note the wheel on my suitcase was broken and the male staff member gave over an hour fixing it....just the kindest

My no1 coffee shop in lanta. I loved their avo toast either avo sandwich. It was very tasty and I recommend it. Also, they have the best chocolate cheesecakes for 130 bath I ate in Asia so far …and I’ve tied lots of them. Highly recommended!

So good home made and healthy food ! Perfect for breakfast, lunch or tea time. Home made ice cream, the best in Thailand. Staff really nice. Highly recommended !

Bamon is so passionate about his food and it is evident in every bite. It's all delicious, home made and prepared fresh. Also the best coffee we have had in Thailand. We've been back three days in a row!

Really delicious food. The smoothies are also really well done. The bread they use is delicious. The brie and bacon sandwich was absolutely delicious. Everyone is also super friendly.
