The staff were so lovely and very helpful with booking excursions. We also rented a moped through the hotel which was super helpful for exploring the island.
The rooms were spacious and had a nice balcony. The bathroom was nice but door is in front of the sink that was a bit inconvenient.
The pool is a great size and very clean and perfect for a cool down. There were plenty of sun beds.
They also served food from 8am-8pm, the chicken fried rice was nice.
A 3 min drive from the nearest 7-Eleven and some nice restaurants nearby.
The rooms were spacious and had a nice balcony. The bathroom was nice but door is in front of the sink that was a bit inconvenient.

A family that hosted me wonderfully, helped me arrange a trip and a ferry for the crossing, were very helpful and kind, a cozy and comfortable bungalow with everything you need

Lovely location, only a 5 minute walk to the beach. The bungalows are lovely and spacious and has everything you need in them. I also liked that the bungalows weren’t too close together so you had your own space and privacy. The pool was relaxing and very well kept by the owners. Overall a very quiet place to stay if you’re wanting to relax near the pool I would highly recommend.

Clean, quiet space in your room. The territory and swimming pool cleans several times a day. You need to try this place, 2 minutes walk from the beach and shop 7/11. Highly recommended, nice owners that can do the possible as they can.

The house has everything you need.

The hotel is small, 9 houses.
There are many roosters and hens running around the area.
We liked living here.

Loved my stay at Morakot
I stayed for 5 nights while i was working remotely.
The staff are just the kindest.
The rooms are cleaned every day and i had requested a quiet room which was kindly provided.
Laundry and food available in hotel.
Pool is lovely and only a short walk to Long Beach for an incredible sunset.
If would highly recommend Morakot and was sad to leave.
Also to note the wheel on my suitcase was broken and the male staff member gave over an hour fixing it....just the kindest

I would give this hotel 3 stars. The location is very nice, green and quiet, the room was new and clean (we had one of the new ones, the M1) but they are quite spartan when it comes to the amenities, even about things that don't cost practically anything. For example, there is no hand soap, only one towel per person (how is someone supposed to dry their hair or wash their face?), no lamp/bedside table to put small stuff. The most important thing is that there is no hanging rope or anything to dry your swimsuit or towels after going to the beach (how is it possible to introduce yourself as beach hotel and not having any of that is truly beyond me, zero common sense). When I told them about the soap and the hanging rope, they didn't seem to care, they just told me that they don't provide it. We were very lucky to have had amazing neighbours next to us who got the rope for us, because we went to 4 different stores and couldn't find it. Breakfast was also pricey, we went only once and then we were having breakfast only at Captain bakery, 5 mins on foot away from the hotel. Overall, it's kinda inadequate, I don't think I would come back.

Loved our stay at Morakot. The location is excellent, you do not hear the big road at all. Thats why it is very nice to just chill at the swimming pool.
By renting a scooter from the resort, you can get anywhere very fast.
A special shout-out to the staff who were absolutely wonderful. They really do take the time to talk to you and help you with whatever you need. They made us feel very welcome and we appreciate that a lot.

We had a great 3 night stay at Morakot Resort. It was reasonable priced, has a nice pool, rooms are spacious and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and happy to help with anything.
The hotel is in a good location, close to the beach and plenty of great restaurants. Scooters can be hired from reception, the food is pretty good and the staff can assist with booking boats/transfers etc. We really enjoyed our stay!
