Dolphin Bay Beach Resort in Ban Mai

I truly love this place. This is my fourth time visiting Dolphin Bay Resort, and it feels special every single time.
The first time we stayed here was right after we had our wedding celebration at Braserie Beach. We brought our family to relax here afterward, and since then, it has become a meaningful place for us.
After we had our daughter, we continued coming back because this resort is truly kid-friendly. It’s perfect for families with children. The rooms come in different sizes, the prices are reasonable, and there are so many activities for kids to enjoy.
My daughter absolutely loves it here. Every time we visit, she somehow meets friends she has played with before — completely by chance, without planning. It’s amazing how many sweet little friendships are formed here.
The atmosphere is peaceful, warm, and filled with children’s laughter. For our family, this is not just a place to stay — it’s a place where beautiful memories are made, again and again 🤍

This resort is amazing, I would totally recommend it to anyone who likes to relax, swim and do trips into the nature. We stayed here for just 3 nights but you could easily enjoy yourself for weeks here! The rooms are clean and provide everything you need, the pool and relax area is super nice, the staff and food is amazing too. The resort is right on the beach and de sea is super nice to swim in with no plants/rocks. It’s very family friendly so not very quiet in the evening, on Saturday evening there is a night market which is very nice with a podium and a lot of local people. Since we had to leave very early for the airport, they even made us a small breakfast box.

This is a great little property that's away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities in Thailand. The place is quiet and feels very safe. There are a couple eateries within walking distance and the beach is literally across the street.

The service is very friendly and the breakfast is great with lots of tasty options.

I took away a star from the rooms because the bedding is very firm. If you like that it's great, but I'm used to jumping on my bed and I'd forget how firm it is each time I did so. Also, the toilet gave off a gas smell. If the toilet seat was down and the door to the bathroom was closed, you couldn't smell it, but every time we went into the bathroom we could smell a sulfur-like smell.

We had a wonderful stay at Dolphin Bay Resort and were extremely satisfied with everything. The service truly deserves five stars.
The hotel was spotless everywhere. The bed was very comfortable – the mattress cover really makes a difference. The room is simple, but very thoughtfully designed and has everything you need, including nice little details like mosquito coils on the terrace, which we really appreciated.
The long swimming pool is great, with a designated lane for fitness swimming, which is a big plus. There were always plenty of sunbeds available around the pool, so no stress or early reservations.
Breakfast was excellent. Their egg omelette was absolutely outstanding – honestly better than in many hotels in Europe.
We can definitely recommend this resort and would happily return!

Loved this place! We had such a great time here. It is a very chill, simple resort. We ate dinner and lunch there which were both very good. We would definitely come back here. When my boyfriend showed me the place I was a little hesitant but it is great! It's a cute little beach town that is really quiet.

Stayed here for 2 nights in late November 2022. The hotel has a good beach-facing location on the main beach road. Amenities include a swimming pool, gym, a restaurant serving local and western food plus a decent selection of cocktails and beers, laundry service, comfortable seating at the beach, and an in-house bicycle rental service. My room was spacious and clean (upper floor of the main building with balcony facing the pool). The only issue I had was poor water pressure in the bathroom (inconsistent pressure). Check-in and check-out process was simple and easy. Staff members are friendly and helpful. Overall great value.

My wife and I just finished up a five night stay at Dolphin Bay and we’re so sad to be leaving. Here are a few of the things that make this place wonderful: lovely staff, tasty and such a convenient restaurant, incredibly relaxing pool/garden area, beautiful views, clean quite comfortable rooms. In sum it’s a perfect place to spend a relaxing beach holiday.

Very Good 3* Hotel direct on the beach on a nice quiet place. Very friendly staff . Good food and a very good coffee. We come back 100 % next time.
