The Monttra Pattaya in Pattaya

We absolutely loved this place.

Usually we stay in villas but the partner decided she wanted to check the Monttra out and we weren't disappointed.

The room was great, sea view and very quite here. The food was amazing. We were welcomed with a drink and lunch time snack which really hit the spot.

Very quite hotel/resort with amazing views and away from the real madness that is Pattaya.

They also have a sailing school so if sailing is your think this is a really good spot!

An incredible place.
At some point I honestly felt like I was in Bali — it’s that quiet, green and peaceful.
Completely away from the drunk crowds and the usual Pattaya vibe.
This doesn’t feel like Pattaya at all — it’s a little paradise.

The beach is clean, the room is beautiful, and the whole area is full of trees and greenery.
Sunsets and sunrises here are just… wow.
I felt so relaxed and recharged.

I’m really happy I found this place — and I’ll definitely come back. ✨

I visited in November, and the weather was wonderfully nice and breezy. This is truly the best hotel for a relaxing and peaceful vacation.
The view here is absolutely insane and incredibly photogenic. There are so many perfect spots to sit, watch the sea, read, or simply take a nap, all surrounded by beautiful greenery and ample shade.
The entire staff is wonderful, offering exceptional service and genuine smiles.
The food is also great, especially the Thai cuisine, and the breakfast is absolutely amazing.
We loved our stay and will certainly be back again for sure!

- Room is spacious
- Good bath amenities (L'Occitane)
- Breakfast was tasty and had good quality even though it is not a buffet
- Afternoon bites and ice-cream buffet is terrific and unique
- The resort is full of evergreen trees, giving a highly chill and good vibes
- Swimming pool is very iconic and has an opened view to the sea
- Sunset view is stunning
- The seaside bar is also delightful and has precious and relaxing atmosphere
- Staff is hospitable
- As a beach resort, it is very easy to access to the beach, which is calm and relaxing
- Located near a city center which is easy to find a place for dining

Points to notice

- Same as many local resorts, general maintenance both in room or public areas still needs improvement to remain a good condition of the resort (the rain shower in my room did not work)
- Overall cleanliness is good, but can be leveled up, too
- It would be nicer if breakfast can be more various
- As the resort is very close to the nature, insects or venomous are unavoidable (I found a green snake in the bush when walking to a car park)
- Parking lots are quite limited (not sure if there is another place nearby to park)

Very good but we paid for pool villa and the water was cold then we didn’t use.

Love the quietness and privacy of this hotel. It is located at a very private area which only the hotel guests can enter, spent an entire morning and afternoon sitting on the various sofas and beds provided, and the view of the sea is absolutely breathtaking. Only downside was the late check in, arrived on time but had to wait an extra hour for check in, however, the hotel staff were very apologetic and gave us the privilege of late checkout although we were not able to utilise it as we had to leave early. All in all, a great experience and would love to come back again, enjoyed the calmness and relaxation at this hotel
