Sleepeasy Hostel Hua Hin by Baankangmung in Hua Hin

Cool stuff:
They took me with a golf cart to the hostel coz I had luggage. Close to Khao Takiab beach.
Cons:
First, the pictures that you see on the listing are for the hotel. The hostel is in a completely different location and building which is like 4 minutes walk from this hotel and this property. I don't remember that it's mentioned anywhere on the listing that the hostel and the hotel are in a completely different property and they are separate from each other.
2- There is basically as shown in the pictures. No communal proper space to sit, eat or if you want to put your laptop and work. The chairs are wobbly and unsafe to sit.
The place is connected to a coffee shop dedicated to the patrons of the coffee shop, not for the hostel.
3- if you have a problem with your dorm room or you have a problem with the bathrooms, you actually have to call the reception. There are no staff present all the time in the hostel area.
4- when there was no drinking water and the hot water thermos did not work. I walked all the way to the hotel area to ask them to fix the thermos for the hot water they said we you have to wait because the housekeeping are busy preparing breakfast for the hotel guests.
5- hostel guests have no access to the beach where Hotel guests are. Basically the hostel guests have no access to the amenities of the hotel and of course no view.They are in a completely different locations.
6- The mattress was basically as if I was laying on a cement block. It was super hard and I had to actually put the comforter underneath me to be able to sleep.
I don't recommend.

+: location is close to the beach and pet friendly.
-: bad quality breakfast, lack of facilities, rooms are rundown and not well maintained, noisy and had a lot of mosquitos as the balcony door did not close properly, far from what’s advertised, was told there was a garden for pets but in reality there wasn’t, lack of safety - elderly mother fell due their slippery “disinfecting tray”, bed frame made a lot of noise, not clean, not at all value for money. Booked for 6 nights and wanted to leave after the first night but they refused to refund the remaining nights despite explaining that the hotel was far from advertised. Saw another guest complaining to the staff on the same reasons and eventually shortened their stay.
