I'm only giving the facilities 2.5 stars because it's a Novotel, and the water kept going from hot to cold in the shower. The hairdryer was also a nightmare to use, you had to hold the button down with a lot of force, which was really annoying when trying to dry my hair. The room was quite compact and a bit small.

This is a really nice hotel, not too far from Koh Samet. It was only 55 RMB by Alipay taxi, so quite close. The hotel environment is also great, very clean. Highly recommend!

The accommodation is new and very clean. The 5-foot bed is a bit small but clean. The parking lot is spacious and the location is convenient, close to restaurants. While not beachfront, it's a very short walk to Crab House, which is right on the beach. The only downside is that the rooms aren't soundproof; you can hear cars driving by. Over the last 20 years I have stayed in several hotels in Rayong. I learned 5 years ago there is only one outstanding place to stay in Rayong. The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are SOFT! Very hard to find in Thailand. Their included, multi course breakfast buffet, is fantastic. This time I stayed 8 days.

Really enjoyed my stay, the staff were exceptional and very attentive to small details. Plenty of parking and the Fitness and pool were really good compared to most hotels of equal standing. The room was large and very clean and had a microwave, chinaware and 4 complementary bottles of water. Small things make a difference and the room ticked all of my boxes. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. Although the hotel is somewhat dated and shows signs of wear, it is conveniently located for my itinerary. One aspect I found inconvenient was the outdated room key system, using a large plastic block with a traditional key felt cumbersome, and a more modern solution would greatly enhance the guest experience. The star convention hotel is a wonderful place to visit one of the best budget hotels I have stayed in. The hotels gymm star fitness is fabulous they have steam room sauna (ask reception to turn on 20 minutes before use) and a generious sized swimming pool. We stayed at Deluxe room on 3rd floor. My mom is 89 years old, staffs are very kind to bring wheelchair to take my mom to the room both times of check in and check out. We are very appreciated them. We ordered room services for our dinner, Thai food is delicious and authentic. Breakfast was perfect for both of us. My mom was sleeping well and happy to stay here.

This is honestly one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. All the staff, from the parking attendants to the receptionists, to the restaurant and room service people, were really kind and polite. They would greet us every time we walked by and would help us without us needing to ask. The facilities were superb and the breakfast is top notch. We can’t wait to come back here. ❤️

Very quiet and lovely beach hotel, with mainly locals in the area. The restaurant wa snot always open though, so it was not easy to buy water. It might be a good idea o get snacks and water in advance.

I stayed here 3 nights and found this hotel pretty good. It was clean, had good wifi and the location was ok. The staff were nice enough but not much English was spoken. They have laundry facilities. The hotel is budget friendly too and I'd stay again.

Overall, pretty nice. The rooms were clean and lovely. Everything worked fine, there were some laundry machines in the hotel which was very convenient. Shops and restaurants aren't that far if you're willing to walk a bit 😉

This accommodation is excellent! It's very clean, convenient, and super comfortable. The pillows are soft, and the bed is so comfy that I barely wanted to get up. They even offered a welcome drink, and the rose tea I chose was delicious. Food is easy to find, and there's a market right in front of the hotel for shopping. It's not too far from the beach, and there's ample parking. I was very impressed

The door lock wouldn't open when I was checking out, but thankfully it was repaired and replaced quickly.

Good accomodation if you want to stay a couple days to swim, looking around and wake up with coffee/tea/toasters/rice/eggs. I stayed not first time, everything is fine, have big parking, swim pool is available, rooms are bigger than another hotels, tired furniture and some door lockers but a big good bed and tv/refreeze/table/aircond. Fine.

Stayed for two nights after a flight from UK and a 2 hour taxi journey, lovely quiet stay, very clean, friendly owners offered a lift into town in the evening and took us to the boat for Koh Samet the following day, very reasonably priced. Would definitely stay here again. Ban Phe is a delightful fishing village if you are looking for a quiet couple of days.

The room was OK, spacious and quiet. Hotels in Thailand cannot be compared with those in China. The facilities are complete. There is a 711 nearby, which makes shopping very convenient. You can use WeChat and Alipay everywhere.

There is a garbage truck cleaning around 4-5 am near the room, which is very noisy and affects rest. The service is very good, and the hotel facilities are average. Because it is near the Rayong Industrial Park, the price is inflated and it is very popular.

The address on Ctrip was inaccurate, and the navigation led to a remote place. When I contacted the hotel, he hung up the phone as soon as he heard that I was Chinese. The hotel is located across the road from the sea, about 100 meters away. The rooms are small, detached bungalows, approximately 25-30 sq.m. If you turn right from the hotel, there's a 7/11 store about 100 meters down. Opposite the hotel and to the left, you'll find many cafes and a seafood market. The beach isn't very clean, especially after the evening low tide. We stayed for 3 nights. I can recommend...

The rooms are individual houses, so I was able to relax outside listening to music and drinking beer until late at night. The rooms were also clean and I think it was a great place to stay. When I checked in at 3pm, I was told that my bath towels were not yet dry.

Lovely family run resort. Exceeded expectations. Staff were fantastic, grounds were lovely. Yes some parts needed updating but this is a family run establishmenr who really took the effort to look after us. Breakfast was excellent quality with omlettes made to order. I was in this hotel with friends 8 years ago and wanted to return. I was surprised by the beach, it became very clean, but it was a garbage dump. Clear water and an ideal shore for long barefoot walks. Very few people. During this time, the hotel only deteriorated and tried without renovation, which is sad. But for the price that is now offered, it finds its guests.
