The Great Rayong Hotel in Rayong City

Good....aircon, quiet at night, switched on staff, location a short walk to the beach clean room, stayed in room 206.
Room for improvement...breakfast could be better, eggs were cold, better if cooked to order, having omelette as an option would be good.

Great place close to the beach , have scooters to rent! Over all I highly recomend this place.

Good accomodation if you want to stay a couple days to swim, looking around and wake up with coffee/tea/toasters/rice/eggs. I stayed not first time, everything is fine, have big parking, swim pool is available, rooms are bigger than another hotels, tired furniture and some door lockers but a big good bed and tv/refreeze/table/aircond. Fine.

Service is good and the staffs are friendly. One thing i dont like is the smell of the room

Basic place, nothing fancy but great free breakfast and 2 min walk to the beach. Well worth it!

Nice hotel close to the beach

comfortable and cozy, helped lift things up and down. very sincere. Yes, the equipment is not new, but it is spacious. no balcony, but there is a swimming pool and a relaxation area
Soap, shampoo, two towels, two water

Hotel is old but has its charm. Rooms are very basic, furniture is cheap and deteriorated. Rooms were clean enough. 
Hotel is in the process of room by room renovation. We were on the third floor( no elevator), saw a second floor room that had been renovated. Better but still basic. 
The crown moldings throughout and lobby furnishings show it was ‘great ’ in the day. 
Breakfast was limited.
Pluses were great A/C , hot water on demand and great wifi. 
The 2 hotel dogs and three cats were friendly but not intrusive. Except for the cat that tried to take over my towel on the pool lounger🤣.
It was charming enough to make me think about coming back and staying for a day or two 
The pool area was lovely but the pool circulation only kept the deep end clean. Some cleaning of the tile sides would make a huge difference .When I asked about pool towels was told ‘ only two towels per room’, so no extra towels available for the pool.
We were there during mid week at the end of October. Definitely a lack of restaurants and any nightlife. The hotel is a block away from a gorgeous beach. Be prepared for a walk thru beachside pine needles and low growing plants to get to the golden sand and clear water.
