Hotel Nesrine in Hammamet

would like to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at the reception during my stay at the hotel. Unfortunately, both the receptionist and the male staff member at the front desk behaved in an unprofessional manner.

I felt that they attempted to take advantage of my situation because I was accompanied by a foreign guest. I was asked to change to another room without any valid justification, which appeared to be solely for the purpose of charging additional fees. Furthermore, they attempted to impose extra taxes that were neither clearly explained nor justified.

Overall, I felt unfairly treated and pressured to pay excessive amounts of money simply because I was with a foreign visitor. This experience was disappointing and does not reflect the standards of professionalism and transparency expected from a reputable hotel.

I hope the management will take this matter seriously and ensure that such practices do not occur in the future.

Never ever again. Upon arrival and throughout our 4 day stay ( thank god we didn't book longer), the reception staff couldn't have been more unhelpful. The room was tired and basic. We only had a very thin sheet and so I slept with my hoodie on. Also by the last night we were both in pain as the mattress was rock hard. The room wasn't properly cleaned each day either, just the bed (sheet) made. Food wise, it was absolutely awful. Every single thing was cold and tasted of absolutely nothing, even the melon! You could tell the food was rehashed for the next meal time as well. Linen was stained on the tables and food on the floor. The entertainment was depressingly dire. The flies were unbelievable, I've never seen so many and the stench of sewage was acrid. We weren't given any information about the hotel on arrival and outside of the premises, there was absolutely nothing, just abandoned buildings and a dusty dark road. The beach was lovely but once again everything was desolate. Now to be fair I realise we were near the end of season. There were no snacks bars and you would have to pay extra for a cocktail even though it was all-inclusive Also there weren't any towels for the pool or beach. The hotel is predominantly occupied with locals, so don't go expecting to see other English, this is not a slur on the hotel, purely an observation. Now onto some positive things I'm glad to say. The waiters, concierge, cleaners and bar staff were amazingly friendly and so helpful. They deserve a massive shout out and I just wish they were paid their worth. Overall more a 1.5 star but the majority of the staff a 4 star.

My experience here was a nightmare from start to finish: Filthy rooms with cockroaches crawling on the floor, walls, and even on the bed. No pillows and no towels provided. Cleaning staff used almost no real cleaning products — just water and cheap materials. Management lied about calling pest control and never dealt with the infestation. People eat in the rooms, making the dirt and cockroach problem worse. No air conditioning anywhere; after being moved three times, we were stuck in a room over 40°C. Dangerous swimming pool — the floor came apart, sharp edges cut my feet badly, left me bleeding, and I still have a scar almost a month later. Terrible food — not Tunisian, same dirty, smelly dishes every day, tasted awful, and made me feel sick. If you value your health, safety, or even basic honesty, stay far away from this place. I would never recommend anyone stay here. terrible condition: there were no pillows or covers, the rooms were infested with cockroaches, including on our beds, and the temperature in the rooms reached over 40°C, making it impossible to sleep. We were forced to leave early and return late each day, as we could not stay in the rooms due to the heat, filth, and infestations, Additionally, the swimming pools in the hotel were dangerous. The floors were pulled up, sharp, and hazardous. My wife swam only once, and the broken floor caused a serious injury to her feet, which bled immediately. The injury has still not healed after a month, and she has purple-blue marks that remain painful. Because of this, she has been too afraid to use any swimming pool. My children were also affected; they stopped swimming entirely at all three hotels due to the dangerous pool floors. These are serious safety issues that caused physical harm and lasting emotional trauma. The hotel also had no air conditioning, the food was inedible, and despite repeated requests for assistance during our stays, no support was provided. even with : unsafe swimming pools causing injury, extreme room temperatures making it impossible to sleep, cockroach infestations on beds, lack of basic amenities like pillows and covers, inedible food, and complete lack of assistance from the hotels or your company. I have attached photos of my wife’s injury after been a month and still purple from the pool tiles pulled out

possibly the dirtiest and most run down hotel i’ve ever stayed in. dirty, painted by a young child, absolutely filthy bath and cockroach on the last day. avoid at all costs. complaint made
