Reviews
Hotel Review:
Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was disappointing. The cleanliness was not satisfactory, which is very important to me.
My first impression at the reception was also negative. The receptionist (Ms. Ines teress تراس ) seemed to be in a bad mood all the time, did not smile, and did not offer a warm welcome.
In the restaurant, there was no friendly greeting. Despite many empty tables, guests were always forced to sit at small tables, even when having several plates. In one case, a staff member even refused to serve me because I did not accept sitting at a small table.
Another issue was the housekeeping staff. They knocked on the door very early in the morning (around 8:00 a.m.) while I was still sleeping, asking to clean the room. This was very disturbing.
The evening entertainment was also disappointing. The music was the same every day, boring, and of poor quality.
Overall, I was very dissatisfied with my stay and would not recommend this hotel.
Unfortunately, on our last evening (22-12-2025 at around 18:45), I was stopped at the restaurant entrance by a staff member and told I could not enter because I was wearing shorts. My shorts were knee-length, but there was no prior information, sign, or written guideline anywhere in the hotel or restaurant explaining that shorts were not permitted.
I had to return to my room to change, which was uncomfortable and upsetting, especially as this rule was not communicated in advance. When I raised this at reception, the receptionist was polite and tried to calm the situation, which I appreciated.
I fully respect hotel policies and local standards, but I strongly believe dress code rules should be clearly communicated to guests in advance, either at check-in, in a guest guide, or with visible signage at the restaurant entrance.
Apart from this incident, our stay was enjoyable, and I hope the hotel will improve communication to avoid similar situations for future guests.
A Azimi
Food was really tasty and varied, lots of flavoursome meat & seafood options and all presented really well. Great desserts & fresh fruit on offer. Always had different options each day and the pizza station was really good too.
Drinks were nice and always cold, never served unchilled or without ice. AI Red and rosé wine was perfectly drinkable and smooth, but don't expect brilliant quality. Decent range of AI cocktails, but all are made with pre-packaged juices, but are still nice if you like sweet cocktails. Even the AI brandy was inoffensive and easy to drink.
No issues with sunbeds, always plenty to choose from after we had breakfast. Sunbed throws/blankets were readily available, but no actual towels which is fine as we knew to pack our own.
Ignore the bad reviews on here, I was a bit concerned before we arrived after reading many of them, but I honestly couldnt see what all the fuss was about. Everything was always clean and tidy, food and drinks were great & the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The maid cleaned our room every morning and replaced all used bath towels, toilet paper, coffee pods, bottled water, shampoo and shower gel.
Entertainment every night from 8.30-10.30pm - usually a singer in the main bar area. No music in the pool areas but it's nice and peaceful.
Pool is a refreshing temp in October, but I wouldn't go as far as saying it's cold even though some people seemed to think so somehow...
Not a lot outside of the hotel to walk to, all a bit run down to be honest, but all we wanted was a pool/beach holiday that was easy and relaxing, so this hotel was perfect.
Overall, an excellent value holiday, 27c sunshine in October, nothing to complain about!
My allocated room was on the beach, just where I wanted to be, with a well presented and clean room, with both bath and shower. However a beach front room would not be suitable for someone who has problems as its quite a way from the restaurant.
Three terrific pools and a large spa, (which is an additional cost). Lots of sun beds available which are taken very quickly.
The restaurant food at each meal was plentiful and varied which is typical for an all inclusive. NO ice cream available at any sitting, a note to management adults like ice cream as well. During the stay a one time booking at the Italian restaurant is given as part of your stay. Personally wasn't too impressed, choice was limited and not that good again no ice cream, cannot understand this at an Italian restaurant . This hotel offers most of the expectations of an all inclusive with the addition of the use of the sister hotel next door where the daily activities take place.
Locally not a lot to see, however a taxi ride will take you to the sites.
I would recommend this Hotel, with the proviso of doing your homework.
The buffet was delicious with a great variety of choices, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. The customer service was outstanding — the staff were welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile, Haikel and Hana were very friendly, professional, and charming.
Overall, Hotel Azure exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hammamet. We can’t wait to come back! 🌊✨
