I booked this stay from Booking.com. I was given a completely different room than I asks for. I am very disappointed because the bathroom was very dirty. There was a very strong smell in the bathroom and the room, that bothered us all night.

I left the place to book a different room. The manager of the hotel mentioned that they cannot provide a refund because booking holds the money for 30 days.

I contacted booking and eventually the hotel did canceled the reservation and marked as no show while refunding us for 50% while they mentioned that they will provide 100% refund.

The manager wanted to upgrade us to a different room for an extra charge of 1500 per night. This did not financially make any sense.

I never wanted to write this bad review, but I felt like this had to be done to warn others about this place. I felt like the way that the manager was dishonest. Booking.com mentioned that only way for us to get a full refund would be if the hotel manager released the full funds. We had no intentions of writing a bad review, but I did not like dishonesty at the end.

1 star is still too much for this place.
My stay was supposed to be 6 nights, but I left after just one night because the conditions were unbearable. The room I was given did not match the photos or description online—it was a completely different room. It was dirty, moldy, and clearly not prepared for guests. The bathroom had mold in the shower, stains on the toilet, a dirty sink, and a strong foul odor. As someone with breathing issues, the environment made it nearly impossible to sleep.

When we asked the manager to change rooms (the hotel was completely empty), he tried to charge us extra for an “upgrade.” He later admitted that the room we originally booked was being used for storage and showed it to us—it was filled with stuff. After a sleepless night and dealing with the dishonesty, we decided to leave.

When we asked for a refund, the manager told us to contact Booking.com because he “does not receive the payment until a month later.” We reached out repeatedly. Then we received a message from the manager through Booking.com saying he would give us a 100% refund only if we left a positive review—which was shocking and completely inappropriate. Shortly after, Booking.com notified us that the manager was only offering a 50% refund, and he falsely claimed we never checked in.

This property is unclean, misleading, and managed dishonestly. I am posting this here because the manager canceled my reservation to prevent me from leaving a review on Booking.com. I hope this warns other travelers and helps them avoid the same experience.

I don’t recommend this hotel. staff wasn’t friendly, not talkative. photos are not true, the shower cabin and washbasin were in the room (not separated bathroom) which is not visible on the photos, because they are photoshopped and they didn’t change room. Not clean and bad smells. Tv in the room was in the weird position that you can’t watch it and no sound.

The room was not clean enough and had a general nasty smell. We asked for the room to be changed, but despite the empty room on the internet, we were not helped. The room is not as it appears in the pictures. I definitely don't plan on coming back. In order not to encounter any surprises when checking out, I recommend you to ask for the price of everything, otherwise you may encounter prices far above the standard, such as this extra was not included in the breakfast. I've been coming to Alaçatı for years, but it's probably the last place I'd recommend.

We were not satisfied at all. Lizards were crawling from our room overlooking the garden. The rooms are dirty, we encountered so many problems at the first entrance that ants that made their nests. Rooms with spider webs. The hotel was empty , 3 days of tea and coffee account cost us 1100 TL ? They made an extract as a joke. Our friend who does sports asked for boiled eggs, they wrote 15 TL for 1 boiled egg. When we ask a question, they don't even bother to say so and answer. It will never be a place we would choose again. The rooms are very old anyway, you will have a lot of problems because the air conditioner (most likely the first air conditioner) will not meet your needs in summer and winter.
