We stayed here in mid October 2025. The hotel is quite nice but could do with some modernisation to the rooms, especially the bathrooms and some tweaks here and there. I have travelled to Turkey on many occasions and stayed at some fantastic hotels. The Selectum Collection doesn't quite live up to these, but to be fair it is a nice hotel and well worth a trip if the price is right. In my opinion it is a decent 4 star hotel and not a 5 star hotel. I was told that the company only took over the hotel in January 2025 and they are in the process of updating the rooms, but I can't verify this either way. It is situated in quite a remote place, but there are regular buses for 70 TL into Bodrum. Although Turgutreis is nearer and in my opinion a bit nicer than Bodrum, there are only limited buses which is a shame. That said the hotel will arrange a Taxi (approx 15 Euro) if you need one. There are cats and dogs at the hotel which are looked after and will wander in and out especially by the main restaurant. Personally, I like that they are tolerated and most of the guests like to feed and stroke them. However, I noticed that the male cats had their tackle intact and in my opinion the hotel should have a neutering and care program for the cats if they don't want to get over run in the future. It would be a relatively simple and cheap process to do this. We didn't use the al a carte so can't comment on these. The good points are. Staff were friendly and helpful Food is generally good and plentiful-you won't go hungry Bars (lobby, pool, beach) drinks are good including named brands Main pool is of a good size and there were plenty of sunbeds (bear in mind it was October and not August) The slide is fun at the main pool but not always open. It's faster than it looks as well. Quiet pool was a good place to chill out away from the hustle and bustle Beach was nice and sea was great for swimming in. *my tip is to use the pier to go into the sea as it is still shallow. Rooms are as good size with mini bar, dryer, toiletries, safe and tv. Grounds are well kept. Good to go snack restaurant near the quiet pool was top notch. Coffee shop/patisserie nice Free Hammam and sauna Other facilities include gym, tennis courts, basketball courts, onsite shop, kids club. Buses to Bodrum cheap and regular if you want to venture out. Could be better. Bathroom decor looking tired, some leaks in ours from sink and occasionally shower (room 4206) Sea view is limited due to layout, so don't bother paying extra for one Some furniture in rooms looking tired Food is plentiful, but can be a tad limited Some days fruit juices in the restaurant were obviously watered down and is unacceptable for a claimed 5 star hotel Not a great fruit selection - no banana, no melon on some days and only one type of melon. The fruit salad consisted of mainly carrot one day! Only 3 working English TV channels - NHK Japan, France News and Cartoon Network. Could do with some more for when chilling in

We where moved here as our hotel had shut early for the season. We had a fab time. The hotel grounds are beautiful. Rooms are fine. Clean enough could do with a deep clean. But the cleaners cleaned every day. And the product they used smelled amazing. Food was plentiful. There was always something for everyone. Staff in the buffet restaurant where fast at clearing smiley and friendly. Coffee shop was good. Although some of the batista looked like they just didn't want to be there. Pool area was good pool was freezing but is suspect that's because I travelled in October. Plenty sunbeds. No need to lay towels out at 5am. Reception staff where amazing so friendly and helpful. Location is beautiful so peaceful. But very far from anywhere!! Although taxis are easy to get and not expensive. The one downside is that staff seems to always be on their phones. The biggest plus was the cats and dogs. So many and so cute. And obviously well looked after by the staff. All in all we had a great time and would absolutely return to this hotel in future.

Upon arriving you are welcomed into a magnificent reception area with helpful staff. Taken to your room fives you your first view of what is on offer and wow you will not be disappointed. Its not like your average hotel with high rise blocks. There are blocks of rooms with only two stories and all in a beautiful arched court yard There is a main restaurant where you have breakfast lunch and dinner but if you don't make them...There is a 24 hour restaurant a patisserie a pancake stall and pool and beach bar foe drinks. PS the food is amazing....and as for the puddings.....!!! The pool area has plenty of sunbeds and as for the beach....a peaceful haven for all. The gardens are beautiful and if you like cats....you will be im heaven so make sure you get them some ham, chicken and beef lol The staff are all very helpful and highly recommend using the spa for treatments. We were away to celebrate my mums 90th birthfay and when i told the staff, Erhan, went out of his way to make her feel very special. Arranging a table at the A La carte restaurant which was amazing but also arranged for fruit and cake and wine to be put in our room!!! He has continued to ensure our stay will be memorable....and it has!! Only thing I would say, if you want a peaceful relaxing holiday, which you will, stay away from any school holidays lol!!!! We will be coming back next year as mum and I have said, this is the nicest place we have been to, and we have had a lot of holidays together

The food is not very tasty but you won't be hungry. The desserts are the same variety. The hotel is nice and the staff is good.

The hotel has a wonderful architecture, food is available 24/7, alcohol is of good quality, activities are sufficient, there is only one Azerbaijani woman who comes for a massage, the manager seems to be harassing people a lot.

It was great, we were very pleased with everything.

The entire hotel team really makes their guests feel special, they are very kind and respectful.

The restaurant provides a buffet with three meals a day, and the variety is very rich. Dinner can be eaten until two o'clock in the morning at the latest. It is very convenient for people who like to eat and drink. The front desk and bellman services are very good. Luggage needs to be carried up the stairs from the lobby to the room. The luggage cannot be moved up and down on the stone pavement, so the bellman needs help to carry it.
The hotel is a good hotel. Except for the fact that the room is very humid, the quilt on the big bed is too short and cannot cover the feet, the pillows are uncomfortable and smell of greasy hair, there are many black flying insects, and the hygiene is not good enough, everything else is good. I hope the hotel can strengthen the staff. Very clean. If I have the chance to come back, I will continue to stay. Thank you.
