Located in the quieter Akyarlar area of Bodrum, this resort truly feels like a hidden gem. Just a few kilometres from the Greek island of Kos, it offers beautiful, open sea views that immediately set a calm and expansive tone.
The pools are excellent, the food is high quality and impressively fresh, and there’s a wide choice of restaurants covering everything from Asian to European cuisine. It’s an easy place to relax and enjoy summer without feeling rushed or crowded.
A special mention is absolutely deserved for the watersports team. Their professionalism, warmth and genuine friendliness stand out. Welcoming, attentive and always positive, they reflect the very best of Turkish hospitality — the kind of people who quietly elevate the entire experience and leave a lasting impression.
An ideal destination for a relaxed, enjoyable summer break.

I would like to express that, overall, our stay was very pleasant. We were warmly welcomed, and the entire family was delighted with the hotel’s view and the friendliness of most staff members.

However, one aspect caused significant disappointment. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the advertised offer of water activities, as stated on the official website — including sailing boats and windsurfing equipment available to guests. To our surprise, on the first day we were informed that these activities were no longer provided by the responsible vendor. The only complimentary option available was a small single kayak. Other motorized boats and jet skis were available, but only at an additional cost.

I contacted guest services twice and was told that management would follow up regarding the issue, but unfortunately, no response was received during our stay. I find it highly inappropriate that the website continues to advertise these amenities when they are no longer available. This discrepancy represents, at the very least, a communication failure — and from a consumer’s perspective, it may be considered misleading advertising.

Although all other aspects of our stay met our expectations, the main goal of our trip — sailing with my children — could not be fulfilled. I sincerely hope the hotel reviews how it communicates its services and ensures greater transparency with future guests.

If it weren’t for this issue, I would certainly have rated our stay 4 to 5 stars. However, in our case, this was a major disappointment, and the only way to express our dissatisfaction to the hotel management is by giving a lower rating.

My spouse and I stayed for 7 nights at a hotel with a perfect view — one side overlooking Akyarlar Bay and the other facing Kos Island. The food was delicious and plentiful. We don’t have children, but it’s an excellent place for families with kids. All the staff were very polite and knowledgeable, and the room cleaning was excellent.

I would especially like to thank the animators Vako, Sevgi, and Nazmi, who took care of us throughout the day, as well as Hasan and Furkan, who served us during dinner. I also want to thank the team at the beach bar and the gözleme and döner hut.

In short, I’d like to thank everyone who made this holiday such a wonderful experience for my spouse and me.

My partner and my friend stayed at this resort for 10 nights and we returned very happy. The location was absolutely beautiful and woke up to stunning scenery and looked forward to the sun set every evening. The rooms are a bit outdated but this didn’t affect our stay what so ever they were clean and the fridge was restocked every day. The food selection was brilliant and as a foodie I was always satisfied . We particularly loved the gozleme and kebab hut. The hotel offered many different food options throughout the day and evening so couldn’t ask for no more than that. Staff were polite and helpful and the bar had a good range of cocktails. Sun beds were never an issue and towels were provided. I think the hotel would suit both family and couples. I don’t have children but noticed there was lots going on for them with day time shows etc. my partner and I took a 13 euro taxi into the village of turgetris where you can buy all you copied goods and what not. We also took a trip from turgetries into kos for the day which was lovely and would recommend to break up the trip a little. Would happily recommend the resort to anyone x

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The first thing that stood out was the stunning view – whether it was from my room or while relaxing around the hotel facilities, the scenery made the experience truly special.

The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. A special mention goes to Serkan from the bar, who made every visit a delight with his friendly service and great drinks. Hasan and samet from the main restaurant ensured every meal was enjoyable, making us feel looked after and comfortable throughout.

The entertainment team – Vakho, and Sevgi – brought so much energy and fun to the holiday. Their enthusiasm created such a lively atmosphere, and they always went the extra mile to keep everyone entertained.

The gentlemen doing the house keeping on level 1 room 711* was also very polite and done he’s job to an outstanding professionalism and made sure all our needs were met.

Overall, this hotel offers not only beautiful surroundings but also a team that genuinely cares about their guests. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing yet vibrant getaway!

The only constructive criticism I could give is ramazan (blue shirt) from snack bar next to the pool had an attitude for some reason, who knows he might have been having a bad day.

Kefaluka Resort is an excellent choice for a relaxing holiday in Bodrum. The location is breathtaking, with stunning sea views and a beautiful, clean beach just steps away. The resort offers a wide variety of facilities, from spacious pools to a great selection of water sports. The food was fantastic, with plenty of options to satisfy every palate, and the staff were always friendly and attentive. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, offering a perfect view of the sea. The resort is also very family-friendly, with plenty of activities to keep both kids and adults entertained. We rested for more than two weeks with our family. I have visited a lot of countries, it was my first time in Turkey.
The hotel is located in a chic location, rooms with the most beautiful views of the sea and mountains. everything is equipped for children, there is a water park, playgrounds. Animation is on top!! every day at 21.00 they arrange discos for children, where animators dance with them. and at 22:00 there is always some kind of performance, whether it's a circus, dancing, etc.From 23:00 to 00:00, an amazing party with a DJ's masterwork. I would like to note that there are many themed restaurants with food from different countries of the world. there are also coffee shops, bars and small restaurants. the food in the main restaurant is very tasty and there is a huge selection. There are different positions every day. the cook cooks food on the grill, you can choose whatever you want.many thanks to the animators, their stay at the hotel was unforgettable. the rooms are cleaned well, the staff is very kind and helpful. a beautiful green area, these beauties are fascinating. there is an opportunity to play sports, dance, and take excursions. Everything is made for people, huh. the atmosphere is incredibly pleasant.
I definitely recommend it!! The hotel has left a huge mark on my heart and a storm of positive emotions.having arrived only yesterday, I already miss this beautiful hotel. I liked everything))

No thanks to the customer relations manager (lady, No clue about her name), who is located in a room across the reception, because of not listening and caring about the client. There should be a way of taking care of things. A hotel service is a pure service Management after all.

We fell in love with the hotel and everything. All employees except one are so friendly and supportive that increases the added value to customer journey and satisfaction.

The Dirtiest Hotel I Have Ever Stayed In - Not Recommended

My recent stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. This is by far the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The towels provided were dirty, and even after requesting new ones, they were still not clean. The room cleaning service was equally disappointing, as they never cleaned the room properly—hair remained in the shower, the floor was always dirty, and the room was full of dust.

The rooms are in desperate need of renovation. The walls and floors are filthy and give the entire place a very unwelcoming feel. Although the location is a bit far from the main attractions, the hotel does offer an amazing view, which was one of the few positives.

Unfortunately, the food was another letdown. It lacked taste and variety; every day, it was the same bland menu. Unlike other hotels, where there are usually special dishes offered each day, this hotel failed to provide any culinary excitement.

On a positive note, the service personnel, in general, were okay, except for the cleaning staff, who really let the overall experience down. The pools were great, the hotel was not overcrowded, the air was fantastic, and the beach was simply amazing.

However, the positives do not outweigh the negatives, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean and enjoyable stay.

Location is the most remote and isolated part of Bodrum but the water is the clearest, even swimming with the fishes. The beach is amazing, there is a small sandy beach area for the little ones. Lovely views. The nightly entertainment in the amphitheatre was awesome. The water park and pool were enjoyable and very well maintained. The food was ok. The service was friendly and very helpful. Everything was great except the room which obviously needed a renovation and the very slow elevators.
