Reviews
The location is fantastic – right near the beach, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transport. The pool area is spacious and clean, and there are enough sunbeds for guests.
The rooms were basic but comfortable, cleaned daily, and had everything we needed. Sometimes the reception was a bit busy. The food was varied, with both local Turkish dishes and international options, though I think the breakfast could have had more fresh fruit.
One of the highlights was the beach area – clean water and beautiful sunsets. Overall, it’s a good choice for a relaxing vacation, especially if you value location and a nice pool area.
I also want to mention Kateryna - the administrator, who is very pleasant, friendly. You can contact her for help, she will always help. What can I say about the restaurant, the staff in the restaurant is all friendly, polite. The restaurant administrator is friendly, he controlled everything.
I’ve stayed at Ayaz Aqua Hotel twice before, and I’ll be returning again this July for a 10-day holiday — and that alone should tell you how much I love this place!
Each time I’ve visited, the experience has been consistently amazing. The hotel is beautifully clean and well-maintained, with comfortable rooms and a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Everything feels thoughtfully arranged to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.
One of the standout features for me is definitely the food and bar service. The meals are always fresh, varied, and full of flavor — a perfect mix of local Turkish tastes and international dishes. There’s always something new to try, and everything is prepared to a high standard. The bar staff are also fantastic, serving a great range of drinks and cocktails with friendliness and speed.
The cleanliness of the hotel is another big reason I keep coming back. My room has always been spotless, and the entire property is taken care of with great attention to detail. It’s clear the staff take pride in creating a pleasant and hygienic environment for guests.
The location is ideal — close to the beach and just a short walk from the livelier parts of Bodrum, yet still peaceful and perfect for rest.
I truly look forward to my upcoming stay in July and have no doubt it will be just as wonderful as before. Ayaz Aqua Hotel has become a special place for me, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and friendly all-inclusive experience in Bodrum.
Thank you once again, Ayaz Aqua, for making each stay so memorable — see you soon!
One of the most frustrating issues was the broken balcony door that wouldn’t close properly. This caused the air conditioner to stop working multiple times during the night, making it very uncomfortable to sleep.
The beach was far too small to accommodate all guests, and the pool was constantly overcrowded, making it difficult to relax or enjoy either area. The restaurant was another major letdown – the staff seemed poorly trained, frequently removing plates while we were still eating. Often there were no clean plates available during lunch or dinner, which created an unnecessary hassle.
The only redeeming aspect of our experience was the front desk and bar staff, who were professional and courteous throughout our stay. A special mention goes to Katya from the front desk – she was always polite, helpful, and made a genuine effort to assist with any issues.
The bartenders deserve special mention for their excellent service and for keeping us well-hydrated throughout our stay. The staff in the dining area were top-notch, friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed.
A heartfelt thanks to Murat—what a lovely bloke! His warm and friendly attitude truly enhanced our experience.
- Hotel grounds and location are OK.
- Were upgraded to a 'swim-up' room upon arrival which was good.
Con's-:
- HOTEL. This is not western european friendly at all. Hotel was predominantly Russian/Polish/Serbian. Everything was catered for their liking, including food. Dirty and broken sun loungers by the pool.
- POOL. Looks nice and refreshing, however water is murky. This swiftly lead to ear infections for my children which meant a trip to the local clinic via ambulance.
- FOOD. Wouldn't let my dog eat at the restaurant. We eat breakfast and dinner restaurant for first night only, food was dreadful. Grey meat swimming in oil. My partner felt unwell from the first night onwards and is now undergoing tests for gastroenteritis/c-diff which isn't great. We eat out every night bar the first at additional cost. The drinks are all served in cardboard coffee cups, you may be lucky to obtain a glass in the evening. Selection was rubbish also. Ice cream is served around 5pm and you would think people have never had it in their life before, literally a queue for 20 mins to get a vanilla cone.
- STAFF. I think I seen one of them smile once, but probably just farted. Miserable. Pestered constantly everyday by various reps for purchasing of trips/massage/henna tattoo/water sports/bag shop onsite. Head of customer service does the rounds asking for people to write reviews on the spot with them watching over your shoulder to which I declined. Animation team is non-existent. Lady who cleaned the room was lovely and worked really hard.
In summary, been to turkey many times, this has been by far the worst experience of recent trips there. We managed to enjoy the holiday, despite the hotel experience. The place itself is lovely, just not geared up to Western Europeans at all.
Rooms and hygiene: rooms are spacious, furniture not the best, lights are not working etc. Hygiene is the biggest problem, they "clean" it every day if you can call that cleaning. They just take out the trash from trash bins and just mope the floor with one dirty rug without vacuuming sand, crumbs etc.
Food: 0 out of 100!!!!!! There are a lot of different dishes every day BUT everything is disgusting, we had to eat eggs for 10 straight mornings because that was the only thing that can be eaten without throwing all up or getting diarrhea.
NOT WORTH MONEY.
The rooms need to be renovated but there are clean and the stuff is polite. There is a lot of choice for the food, you can taste nice Turkish food a lot of fresh salads and vegetables dishes.
There is good entertainment in the hotel. Few swimming pools with a lot of fun.
