Khai Hotel Bodrum in Bodrum

We are just back from a x4 night stay in your hotel. I have a few issues I’d like to point out. Our room was lovely cool and spacious and exactly as described via your website. The hotel itself is stunning with fantastic views and a lovely beach, However your service and staff in the restaurant let your establishment down in a huge way. Very very rude and ignorant to the fact we only spoke English. Ignoring us on numerous occasions and making us feel like we were not even wanted there! I don’t think a communication barrier can be used as an excuse as their body language was another let down! The last lunch we had in particular- we waited 15 minutes to be served and then when we did order our food came 45 minutes later and still no drinks even though we asked for them x3 times. I wish I was kidding. I at one stage stood up and helped myself to a glass of ice on the side in the restaurant I was so thirsty. Finally our drinks arrived a coke and a beer: nothing overly complicated! The x3 male servers weren’t overly busy so this can not be an excuse. When the female host came with our bill I was absolutely shocked to see a €6 service charge on bill. When I explained how long I had waited she just shrugged and said I wasn’t the first to complain that day and management would need to be contacted if I wanted a refund! The food was exceptional but the staff ruined the whole experience- even at breakfast we were treated horribly. Your pool is advertised as having a kids area?? Where is this?! We sat and watched up to 15 kids in the pool with floats boats etc shouting and screaming and splashing. Leaving us unable to enjoy a swim. It’s such a shame as I feel your hotel could be excellent but your service staff let it down.
