Liked · Here's the thing, I always thought that the hotel (or a motel) was a transactional experience; you paid for the room and you got the room, ideally, clean with some basic services like a hot shower, WiFi, maybe heating or air conditioning, television etc. But what I didn't know was that what made all the difference was the staff. It makes all the difference and it is priceless! And this is what Ayder Koru hotel excels at - they excel at delivering premium hospitality that I think no hotel can match. From the owner to the two Syrian Mohammads who manage the hotel, this was by far the most brilliant experience I've had in Turkey. They constantly anticipated and looked for ways to try to make my stay a convenient one. Start from the beginning: so we arrive and when they saw our luggage, they expected the room that we booked to be too small for our needs so they upgraded us for free! And they informed us about being available at any time for any request, which they were happy to oblige. They gave us amazing tips on how to travel and navigate the mountainous forest of Ayder, and in fact, one of the Mohammad's even volunteered to help take us on a tour. It was so much fun chatting with them and you could feel that they truly wanted to be of service, a feeling that comes from the heart. The owner, a gentle Turkish man, although unable to speak English made sure that he made his feel right at home at his hotel. They even offered us free beverages on the house.
My friend also visited us there, and even he got an upgrade with a phenomenal view. Trust me, you will be very lucky if you get the chance to stay there.
Update after owners response: I brought some water (which was not on the menu of this fine establishment) and I made a protein shake. I only made it on the terrace because it was raining outside. No one approached me regarding the shake; if you would, I would have apologized and removed it. But you only mentioned the parking fee. If you want to collect money for parking, you should warn people before they become your customers, not after.
An absolute gem nestled amidst the mountains, "Ayder Koru Otel" Cafe offers a refreshing break from the mundane. With its superbly prepared Amirikano, authentic Turkish coffee, and heavenly desserts, your taste buds are in for a real treat. Add to it the mesmerizing location and you have a truly unforgettable experience. Definitely worth a visit!
The room was beautifully designed and loved using the fire box when the weather was cold . It was such a nice retreat .
If you like to get a room located uphills and walking distance from local stores than that’s the place for you.
Cleanliness is a million out of ten. Clean clean very clean and the smell of the room opens the breath as well as the sheets are all new and uncut, like many hotels in Turkey
There is no air conditioning and the area does not need air conditioning at all.. We lived in it in August
The location is on the main street. In front of the open square, and along its length, there is a street with many restaurants, cafes, groceries, baked goods and gift goods.
The area is very beautiful and the scenery is amazing.
Breakfast is sufficient for the purpose only the basic things in addition to boiled eggs and Turkish samosa pancakes
