Bolu Termal Resort & Spa in Bolu

We traveled with two families; one stayed in a four-person room, the other in a two-person room. Above all, the staff and owners, especially Mr. Omer, were very attentive. The rooms were clean. It's a place we'd consider returning to and staying in again.

This is a beautiful hotel that my wife and I came from Bodrum and found by chance. We were very pleased with its location and service. It's quieter during the week. We met the owner, who was very helpful, pleasant, and hospitable. Thank you.

I loved this place. It's unique and the baths in each room were incredible. Staff didn't speak English but we worked through the language barrier. Definitely worth a night or two visit.

My visit was in covid-19 time, and we stayed for 4 days and 3 nights.

Location:
The hotel is located in Karacasu south of the city center in Bolu, not much of attraction sites near the hotel but the main goal is the thermal water rather entertainment.

The Hotel:
The hotel consist of 10 rooms in hut styles with picnic areas for BBQ, small restaurant, and simple playing grounds for kids. Over all the hotel is more tragetted to medical tourism than vacationing.

The hotel shows it's age in multiple areas specially inside the rooms (more details below), however it's still well maintained.

The room:
We booked a family room (suit) which consist of a big sleeping room - main room - with a small TV, mini fridge, king size bed, and a long sofa that can be used as a bed. The second room had 2 separate beds and a clothes closet.the main selling point is that you get a private bath with a relatively big tub to fill with thermal water.

The main room was adequate enough for the purpose however, you can clearly see it needs maintenance in multiple areas such as
1. Paint
2. Furniture (closet, hanger, desk...etc.)
3. Bed
4. İnternet was very weak in our room

Second room, we didn't use at all, we booked the suit for the kids, but the room was humid and needs lots of maintenance we ended up all sleeping in the main room.

The bath, you can enjoy the water but you will not enjoy the bathroom! Again it's a thermal water treatment hotel don't expect luxury facilities as well (price was nice too around 1700TL for the whole stay with breakfast) so the bath is definitely old and need maintenance but still the tub is large enough for 4 adults and 1 kid, you can fill it with the hot thermal water as much as you want and whenever you want. The hotel provides basic toiletries such as towels and turkish bathrobes.

This is the best part of the hotel, the private bathtub that you can use freely.

The food
Breakfast was good - classic turkish breakfast, it's like a fixed menu every morning it's the same breakfast which is diverse enough, lots of home-made ingredients such as honey and kaymak.

We didn't eat lunch or dinner in the hotel mainly their menu was not very much diverse and encouraging, however you can bring food back to your place from outside.

The staff
They hotel i believe is run by a family, they were very nice and accommodating, they speak very basic english.

Overall, i would recommend the hotel for a short treatment visit however i would suggest to pick rooms wisely.

Great place for rest

It a swimming pool with hot water that used for physical treatment, the water come from mountain that contain special elements to treat bones and skin.
