I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect from start to finish with very clean rooms, comfortable beds, and friendly, helpful staff. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, and the location is very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

This was a last minute find in Maçka. The staff was very nice at checking me in last
Minute at around 2 am. I give this hotel 4 stars. I liked the staff, very nice and helpful. The location is great to Sumela Monastery. It’s an area where you will definitely need to use Google Translate. It was east to communicate with all the small restaurants and shops nearby. There is a cafe about 6 minute drive at the top of the hill with an amazing view! It’s called LaDur Cafe. The hotel was nice and clean. The air conditioner worked well. The beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom had shower gel and shampoo. And it had plenty of hot water. I would recommend this hotel if you’re staying for a day or a couple of days to enjoy Maçka and Trabzon is only 30 minutes away by taxi. The Sumela monastery is about 15 minutes away in taxi. It was easy to hire one that took me to Sumela and back. The taxi driver waited for me and I was able to explore as long as I wanted. I highly recommend this place.

The name is great but are too careless to put the bulb in the lamp in the room, the food was not good unfortunately.

The hotel is located in a village near the Sumela Monastery. The rooms are quite nice. The only problem was not hot water, only warm. Insufficient for showers. Breakfast is poor, bread and jam in boxes, tea.

This is not 4 stars nor 2 stars, room was dirty bedding with smelly bathroom. I don't recommend it at all.

The cottages (which are not the same as the four star hotel) are very idyllicly located in the middle of nature with outlooks to the Sümela monastery. Some of them are wood-heated which poses some challenges during winter. (When we stayed there) Unfortunately the wood-supply was rather irregular, which caused a cold night every now and then, but that was compensated by the comfy duvets. Over all the communication from the management to the customers may improve, but it's still a magnificent place to stay, regardless of the season.
