I had a very pleasant two-day stay at Cebeci Hotel. The hotel is well located, just a 3-4 minute walk from the city center, and it also has a small private parking area, which is convenient if you’re traveling by car. There’s also a car rental agency on-site, which is a nice added bonus.
Initially, we were given a room on the second floor, but we asked to change for a better view. The receptionist was very accommodating and moved us to the sixth floor. The room had a large double bed and a single bed, with a terrace overlooking the main street and offering a beautiful sea view. It was clean, bright, and full of natural light.
The breakfast was varied and generous, with plenty of options to choose from.
I definitely recommend this hotel!

Cheated by the hotel!!!
Google map talked so much abt this hotel. 2 days b4 arrival, Cebeci WhatsApp me, said rooms were not available due to urgent renovations because of damages due to recent heavy downpours.
I was forced to cancel my bookings. when I arrived in Trabzon, I walked to the hotel and found it is still open. I pretended to request for 2 double rooms. The front desk immediately offered me.
When I showed the WhatsApp correspondence to the front desk. The duty personnel immediately told me, without any surprise or shock, “I don’t know, don’t ask me.” “Look! Mister!! Do you still want the room?!” The tone is indeed very rude. Being a frequent traveler and old enough to tell that these staff know the scam tactic they used. Next day I told my day trip driver, he said this hotel is known for this tactic!!!! Wow!!! Welcome to CEBECI GRAND OTEL!!!

Terrible experience! Very poor service, rude staff, no cleanliness at all. Housekeeping never shows up and nobody cares about guests’ requests. This hotel is the worst I’ve ever stayed in and doesn’t even deserve one star.

Disappointed and Frustrated – Service Fell Way Below Expectations
Our experience at this hotel was unfortunately far from smooth. After checking in, we were told our luggage would be brought to the room. We waited… and waited… and nothing happened.
We then approached the receptionist, clearly asked for the bags to be delivered upstairs, and left assuming it would be handled – as is standard in any hotel claiming to offer decent service.
When we returned hours later, the bags were still sitting exactly where we left them. No one had moved a thing. What made it worse was the receptionist’s attitude – indifferent and unapologetic, with no sense of urgency or responsibility.
This may seem like a small thing, but it speaks volumes about the service mindset here. If attention to such a simple request is lacking, it raises real questions about the overall guest experience.
Not a stay we’d want to repeat, and certainly not what we expected.
On top of that, the room itself left much to be desired. There was a strong, unpleasant smell — as if the room had been “cleaned” with a dirty or damp towel. It didn’t feel fresh or properly maintained.
To make things even more frustrating, the noise from the street was constant and made it very difficult to relax or sleep. The windows provided almost no sound insulation.

Initially I had a terrible experience from cleanliness to communications and expectations as listed on booking.com. However. The staff were in general very kind and in particular Mohamed at the reception. He was very easy to speak with and really put an effort to turn around my experience! Thank you Mohamed.
Hopefully they can fix their issues sooner than later. They are basics in a hotel.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met. The services provided were top-notch, from the efficient check-in process to the immaculate housekeeping. The hotel’s location is simply perfect, making it easy to explore the city and access key attractions. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, this hotel offers a superb experience with its combination of great service, warm hospitality, and a prime location. Highly recommended!

The only good thing about the hotel is its location ONLY. The rooms were dirty, the housekeeping service was useless (they left dirty towels and didn’t replace them). Stayed there as a family of 4 for 3 nights, it was a horrible experience. The bathroom had mold in it and the furniture wasn’t clean, they didn’t even care to replace bedsheets. Our view was another building, not worth the price at all.

This hotel is good for its location only
200$/night price tag is not worth of money for the facilities they provided.
Will not recommend to families.

Very much disappointed with this hotel. Very poor service. One should be very careful in booking this hotel. We booked a family room for 4 person through Expedia for 1 night. After arriving in the hotel, they told me that there was a mistake in their part and they didn't reserve a family room. They gave me two rooms in different floors. I had to separate my family members into two different room. The quality of the room is so poor it should not be more than 2 star. I would never come back to this hotel.

Rooms are very small, beds are small. Smell of smokes in bathrooms. The place of the hotel is good and are close to the maydan markets and the sea. The breakfast is very poor, very few options to eat.
