Workinn Hotel in Gebze

It's equivalent to a domestic chain hotel, but priced like a five-star hotel, making it very poor value for money. There's nothing around the hotel, it's far from Gebze city center, and the breakfast is very mediocre. Even though I paid online, they insisted on paying by credit card. The service was extremely poor; there were no smiles, and despite the same room costing half the price, there was no way to communicate.

RACISIM ALERT!!! I had a shocking and deeply distressing experience at this hotel. During my stay, the receptionist on duty (December 11th, 2024, at 2:00 AM) displayed blatantly racist behavior. He asked about my nationality, made a derogatory comment about my background, and then escalated to aggression when I calmly questioned his statement.

He threatened me, called his friends, and even made violent suggestions. To make matters worse, he used offensive terms related to my skin color. This behavior made me feel unsafe and unwelcome.

As a paying guest, I expect professionalism, respect, and basic human decency—none of which were shown. I hope the hotel takes serious action to address this unacceptable behavior. Until then, I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone.

It was a bad experience. The hotel was beautiful and clean, but the treatment by the staff was bad and disrespectful, especially the employee who had her evening shift yesterday 23sp/at the reception at 8 p.m. She refused to say her name and behaved inappropriately and caused me to be late for my trip to the airport, so I took a taxi to demand that she be held accountable.

The room was small and the price was high.

Fries cold at buffet along with many other items and fries cold when served at lunch. There are satanic ants crawlingggg around buffet. Nice views. No shuttle from 1300 to 2000 to public transport. I barfed during breakfast and my wife barfed after eating their peach after a flight.
