Istanbul My Assos Hotel

The most disgusting hotel I've stayed in by far. When we walked into our room the first night it smelled like a sewer and the floors and furniture looked dirty. We told the staff and asked them to clean it or move us but all they said was that the room was clean. It was late and we were tired so we just aired it out and managed. The air conditioner was not working properly and despite being on all night at the lowest temperature our room was still warm in the morning. The next day we asked for a clothing iron and they said they gave it to another room and didn't know who currently had it. The elevator is small and smells bad as well.

We'd already paid for 2 nights and couldn't find somewhere else ro stay that didn't charge extremely high prices in the area, so we came back for the second night. After walking about 20+ thousand steps all I wanted was a hot shower, but the water was more like room temperature. The shower was moldy and dirty in the corners. We told them about the ac but no one came to check on it for us. Don't waste your money here, I wouldn't stay again if they paid me to. Just pay an extra 10 dollars a night and stay somewhere that's clean, hygienic, and has all the proper facilities.

I'm never letting my father book a hotel again without checking with me first. He didn't bother reading any reviews or we wouldn't have ended our trip on such a bad note.

avoid at al coasts when we were arriving hotel looked good and clean with more facilities but when we entered the hotel when arriving we were shocked the reception as soon as we walked in smelled like swears elevators smell and the rooms all dirty beds dirty they didn’t even bring me toilet paper for too days cleaners were horrible we told them staff to clean the room they said it was clean duvets dirty we woke up with bites on our bodies shower had mulled disgusting place i never write reviews but i had to worst hotel in my life! breakfast was like prison food avoid!!!

Windows don’t close properly you can hear everything outside.
No bed sheets
Only good thing is the location it’s 5minutes from town walking
But be aware there’s a big steep hill to get to town
So for someone with injury or older wouldn’t recommend .

AVOID for your own good!!! From rude front desk staff and cleaners who just let themselves in without any warning, to a definite guarantee that you won’t be getting much sleep due to the midnight construction that starts every night on the empty lot next door! Bed sheets and pillows were very dirty, and had to be asked to be changed, AC never worked properly I was told to wait 5 mins for it to work about 10 times, and it still never worked properly, the two little death trap elevators for 2 gave me a panic attack and had to use the horrible twisty stairs all the time. Location is very hilly and expect to walk 10 mins plus to find any decent shops. I definitely wouldn’t stay here again!

Room definitely not clean hair all over the place . Location ( acceptable) the food it's not for a human 😕 cheese feel like plastic . You pay a premium price but you get the minimum .

did a layover and to be honest COMPLETE RIP OFF...horrible area...very small...bathroom has odor at some times of the day. DO NOT RECOMMEND

its not a hotel ,you better stay out side,room small dirty ,the lift is very tiny,u hear every single word from next door ,dont come to this hotel

𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗕𝗔𝗗 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗘𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗦𝗧! Nightmare!
Firstly I want to say that I travel regularly and by far this is the worst hotel I’ve stayed in my life. Travellers travelling from UK needs to know although this is a 4* hotel “it does not provide room tissue” “it does not provide complimentary coffee, tea, sugar and water bottles everyday” “the room quality is very bad, dirty and outdated” “technically this is a 2* hotel, it’s not a international standard hotel” There’s another thing I need to highlight about the abrupt and extremely rude receptionist call 𝗝𝗶𝗸𝗮𝘁 who does night shift. On my last day I told him as a receptionist you need to have the right manner and the right body language to be a receptionist, I told him in UK we don’t have receptionist with very bad attitude. In return he replied: this is not UK, this Turkey and I do not need to smile or be warm and friendly with guests, I am just here to do my job that’s all. Those non English speaking guests will have the same experience with this guy I’m pretty sure. How can they recruit people like this guy. I made an early check out just to get out this place and will never go back. I repeat UK travellers please beware.
