In one word, "budget" hotel. Negative features; The rooms are old, the bathroom is bad, the cleaning is insufficient. The towels used in the room are old. A cozy hotel in the Avcılar district. It's located in a beautiful area with numerous delightful parks, 15 minutes from the beach. There are also plenty of food and shopping options nearby. I have a mixed feelings about this hotel.. I stayed in this hotel in 2022, which was back then nicely renovated - rooms were small, but managable. The only major downside was noise… basically it felt like there are no doors. This year, we got 2 rooms - one was in new building, right next to the “old” one, and once in the previous one. The new room was quite nice, but the old room needs renovation...

The breakfast is monotonous, the sound in the rooms is very loud, and when you ask for cleaning, the trash is taken out and the towels are changed. It seems fine for an overnight stay, but the sound makes it difficult to sleep.

I did not stay at Hotel Spectra, but rather went to the restaurant Spectra just under on Ground level. I have been coming here, albeit under different management/name and for I've always come here for the lentil soup especially after days of having Turkish Adana kebabs and other meat options. This is a 2 mins walk from the Blue Mosque (Sultan Ahmet Cami).
