Guest Houses in Istanbul

The room was clean, the personnel excellent who attended all our needs and even they went the extra mile, as they looked after our bags until late evening time after the morning check out, always being concerned about all our needs. They had recommended us what to do, where to go and how to do things in Istanbul. I definitely recommend them.

Spotless room, clean bedding and pleasant, welcoming atmosphere. Ahmet and his family are warm and helpful. I would highly recommend Tulip Guesthouse to anyone looking for a great place to stay near main attractions.

Great stuff. They picked me up and dropped me off at the airport. The property is in walking distance to the St. Sofia. Clean and comfortable. Good value.

The staff were very kind and helpful. It is a comfortable hotel.

It was a great stay and the personal is so nice. We felt very welcome. Thank you for Everything

Small room, but very clean and comfy. Great location., nice owners. No early check in or late check out allowed, but you can store luggage.

The room was very clean, and considering the low price, breakfast was also included. They were also very kind to recommend an affordable restaurant near the hotel.

Quiet. The breakfast is amazing. The staff are incredibly friendly. Easy access to the tram, and the Blue Mosque is only a 5-minute walk away. I'll definitely be back.

The location is simply wonderful. It's in the heart of Istanbul. Every day, returning to the hotel, you'll walk along these historic streets, past beautiful sights. The hotel beds are in the basement and can be closed with curtains, which is a plus. Breakfast is filling. There are no scrambled eggs, but boiled eggs, olives, something sweet, cheese, and greens are provided daily. There's no tea, but...

Lovely place. Stayed here for 4 nights (2 nights in a room and 2 nights in the female dorm) Pros -Great location, just a 5-10 min walk from the heart of Sultanahmet Square, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Gulhane Park, Egyptian Spice Bazar, and the tram stop. -Clean and well-kept -Breakfast included (eggs, salads, cake, pancake, coffee, tea, bread, fruit etc): small fare but fresh -Friendly and helpful...

Considering the price, it was great. There were automatic lockers for each guest in the dorm, and it was clean as well. The staff was nice, especially Deniz, the dog! The breakfast was delicious, and the location near the Blue Mosque made it convenient for sightseeing. I’d love to stay here again.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

This was a lovely traditional guesthouse. Our room was very comfortable and the bed was great. Many attractions are within walking distance and there are lovely restaurants all around. We were lucky in that our room was on one of the lower floors and we only had to climb to the top of the stairs for breakfast. Breakfast was plentiful but could be improved with the addition of orange juice and eggs...

Convenient location of Sultanahmet area, very close to Hagia Sophia and the Topkapı Palace, surrounded by restaurants. Probably my only complaint is the thin wall between the rooms. other than that, I enjoyed my stay.

Great location. Walking distance to Sultanahmet and restaurants. The room is clean and comfortable.

Thanks to the kind and friendly staff, I had a wonderful stay in Istanbul. [Pros] - Breakfast with a wide selection of dishes, enjoyed while overlooking the Marmara Sea and the sunrise. - Convenient for sightseeing, close to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. - From the airport, take the bus to Sultanahmet and then a 5-minute walk. [Cons] - The room was a bit small.

It’s our second time and we still love it… The location and the cleanliness of the room is really amazing. The breakfast is really delicious with variety…

Excellent location, with all the main attractions within walking distance. The breakfasts were good and tasty. The room was clean and cozy, though a little small.

Very good rooms comfortable and clean quiet quiet

There is nothing better in terms of price and performance, the owner is a reliable character who knows the way. An accommodation that understands the situation and makes you feel like your friend 💯

Cheap, clean and good position hotel, near Osmanbey metro station and not so far from Taksim, but you should climb nearly 20m to reach the road

I will not say anything new: a very good location, all sights are minutes away. Friendly guys at the reception. The rooms are small but clean and well maintained. The food is absolutely expected quality and a lot of it. There is no excess in food, and we didn’t want to. Our only complaint (and we voiced it to the owners) is the quality of the Internet. To which they explained that it was the fault...

I first stayed here with my family as a very young child and then again as teenager and loved it every time, so on a recent trip to Istanbul with a friend, I knew immediately where I wanted to stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the view from the terrace is incredible. The most important part of any trip to Turkey is the breakfast, and here it was amazing as well. The staff are super friendly...

This was my third time staying at Alp Guesthouse. I first came with my family many years ago when I was small. We loved it so much we came back again when I was a bit older. I had fond memories and wanted to come back for my most recdnt trip. Every time I've stayed here, I've had a great experience. The staff are so helpful and friendly, the breakfast is delicious, the view from the terrace is amazing...

Overall the hotel is extremely good value and location is fantastic. We stayed in a family room which had lots of space and a view out the front of the hotel. The location is only a 5 minute walk from both the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque (although a bit further from public transport). The area surrounding the hotel is very touristy and prices (food quality, or lack of) reflect this. The only negative...

Very nice and accomodating staff, great location in old town. Nice breakfast. Room was good but shower screen and one PowerPoint broken.

It is really beautiful! And if you are looking for pubs the hotel location is perfect because is in a street that has a lot of them! Really nice neighborhood.

It was very good an comfortable. Close to Tuyap fair and for me, it was such tome saving. The people here are so kind and polite.

I had a great experience here. The room was clean and comfortable, the area was quiet, and the host was very friendly and helpful. The garden and overall atmosphere made the stay really relaxing. I would happily stay again.

I was traveling alone for the exhibition, and this guesthouse was incredibly convenient, just a ten-minute walk from the venue. The room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were adequate, making it suitable for guests attending exhibitions or on short business trips. Restaurants and shops nearby are about a ten-minute walk away, and communication with the host was smooth; check-in and check-out...

We have more client stay in this good hotel.

Everything was perfect! The room and the whole place were spotless. The owner was very friendly and always ready to help. It’s a very quiet and peaceful location. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back again!

The house is cleaned very thoroughly every day, and the landlord is also incredibly warm and friendly.

I was incredibly happy with the room cleanliness and amenities. Staff were helpful and friendly and the hotel is located in a very convenient spot if youre going to see the sights. I requested that I was left to work which was acknowledged but sheet/towel changes were available if needed. You cannot fault it for the price. I'll definitely stay here again. Please remember that this is a functional...

That's good very good 👍😊

I stayed here for two nights and had a fantastic experience. The owner was incredibly welcoming; I actually laughed out loud when I saw him wearing a Chinese Li-Ning hoodie on the first day! I also met a lot of interesting people and had great conversations with them. The breakfast here is delicious, especially the bread – I loved it.

A Dreamy Stopover in Istanbul – Sultan Hostel Sultan Hostel is definitely an ideal choice for travelers in the charming city of Istanbul. Its location is superb, surrounded by attractions. You can stroll out and feel the weight of history, and being close to the sea, you can encounter stunning ocean views at any time. The hostel's arrangements are very well-organized; every step, from check-in to...

Great value for money, but all the restaurants nearby are tourist traps. If you head towards the plaza, you can catch the rail transit which connects to the subway. You'll need to get one of those red transit cards, and then travel anywhere is really cheap. There's a booth at the airport where you can get one.

Comfy dorm, very kind staff at reception

Stayed at this hotel with my friend for 8 days during my trip to Istanbul. I am going to be totally honest - this hotel was probably the best we could've picked for a variety of reasons. 1) The owner, Yusuf, was incredibly helpful throughout our whole trip, suggesting places to visit. All of his recommendations later proved to be simply amazing, helping us discover some hidden local places. It was...

Everything was excellent: the food was very good, impeccable cleanliness, central location, with parking just 5 minutes’ walk away (the hosts can help you find it if needed). The place is also very quiet, no noise at all. Hosts deserve a 10 – always attentive and ready to answer any question. They even suggested personalized itineraries for each day of our stay. Thank you, we felt at home!

Everything is top for me, i felt confortable, the personal was great, and most importantly i have humble respect and support for business families and hard working people. I appreciated their gentleness and felt their efforts to meet the needs of hosts, Will definitely book again in my next visits. Wish them best. Peace

Really pleasant stay at Otantik Guesthouse. A modest and comfortable place, with an affordable price and located in a bustling local neighborhood. The service of all the staff was really great, they were very kind and interested in us having a great experience. The breakfast was our table full of delicious food! It's within walking distance (20 to 30 min) to the Sultanahmet sights. Also right next...

The staff was very nice and helpful. Whether it's to serve breakfast, advice you how to get around in the city, but they also helped us out with an overcharging taxi driver and the car rental service (not overcharging but spoke mostly Turkish, which we don't). The location is very good, walking distance of the main highlights but far enough that you can easily find a bakery or supermarket. The Indian...

Everything is great there, impeccable service and frindly staff, good breakfest, go there without hesitation

Just a great stay all around. Ideal central location right in the heart of Old Istanbul. Simple, no frills room, but clean and comfortable, with a comfortable bed and small en suite bathroom. Excellent fresh cooked breakfast every morning, and wonderful views of the sea and nearby landmarks from the rooftop terrace. But the part of our stay was how our hosts made us feel welcome and at home from our...

Quiet family-run guesthouse. Friendly and informative. Unfussy and just what I was looking for. Very enjoyable stay.

It was recommended as a good place to stay in Istanbul. I loved the location and the view. The hosts are very nice and guest like people. I would definitely stay again in this place, if I visit Istanbul again.

This has been one of the best holidays of my life - the atmosphere in this guest house is truly one of a kind. The hosts Yeşim and Ahmet welcomed us as family and I can truly say I felt so at home . The location is unbelievable - you can see the sea from the rooms and Hagia Sophia is less than 5 mins away. The buffet assortment at breakfast was so rich and varied - healthy fruit and veggies as well...

Absolutely amazing hosts - Yeşim and Ahmed. They are a lovely family and welcomed us like their own. Breakfast and food is home cooked and so special, makes you feel like you are eating with your family. Gulnara is the chef and she makes wonderful food. The guesthouse is so cozy and homely. We had the top floor rooms and the views are great. The location is perfect as it’s close to the sea (great to...

We couldn’t have asked for anything more from this excellent small family run hotel. Homely room which accommodated our family of 5 perfectly. Yesim and Ahmed are friendly , fun and extremely helpful. The location is also another major bonus - 2 mins walk to airport bus stop and the Haggia Sophia. Lovely breakfast also included. All at an extremely reasonable price.

Thankyou so much to the two gentlemen who directed us to the correct facilities for my girlfriend after a visit to the park. Truly an asset to tourists visiting kadikoy. All the best

The staff are very friendly, the rooms are very clean, the location is great, 15 minutes walking distance to Fenerbahçe Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium, and the breakfast is good. I recommend it to everyone.

The best Goalkeepers academy in Istanbul based on the Asia side. Great professional coaches and reasonably priced at around 2,500 TL for 16 sessions

Hidden gem of Istanbul. Managed by Fenerbahce sports club. You may have breakfast with Fenerbahce celebrities next table or use the same corridor. Peaceful and silent place of the major city.

Close to FB Divan.Clean.and tidy.Reasonable price.

It is a place that provides family closeness with its friendly staff and the comfort of home with its clean and comfortable rooms. I definitely recommend it.

Very good, especially skinny man on reception, he helped me and he’s very polite man 😌

This place is te best place for education specially for yos

The room had a beautiful view.. the location was perfect. 10 out of 10 easy👍

Great location. All the main attractions are in a walking distance

4 nights in panoramic studio of modest, comfortable accommodations and basic necessities with an amazing view! from private balcony! Hot water with good pressure. Nice street view sitting in kitchen. Location was fantastic! ＞ dining(Sirvan Sofrasi on corner my favorite), markets, gift shops, more, just outside front door. All the big attractions a short scenic walk. Host was kind enough to receive...

Great view It is not a hotel. It is more like an apartment. It is difficult to find a place to get a key as we thought there was a hotel. You have to know where to get a key before you arrive. Apart that, we are very satisfied with this place and we will choose this place again.

Pictures were accurate, everything was clean. Very comfortable room and perfect for my trip.

Very well taken care of! Wonderful service and commitment to helping!
