Istanbul Marriott Hotel Pendik

I didn’t stay at this hotel but the spa and Bali massage by Jun was exceptional at the Nerolie spa. Highly recommend the retreat at this hotel, will be back.

Location not great if you are looking for a place closer to the city but its very convenient for Airport access.

Generally excellent hotel with good amenities

A very underwhelming stay.
Check-in was okay and we got a room upgrade, but that was where the good experience stopped. I must say that language was a big barrier, but you would expect a hotel with such a big name to at least have people who could communicate well.
We got a room with two separate single beds, though we checked in as a couple. We had to both sleep uncomfortably on one of the beds for our two nights stay. There was no milk provided for the tea & coffee in the room, we made a request before it was brought up and it wasn’t replenished for the next day. There were no drinking cups available for the water in the room.
The grouting in the shower area was mouldy and unpleasant, my wife wouldn’t step into the shower. There was a sponge provided, which I used on the first night. I would have expected that it would be replaced on the second day, not only was it not replaced but the packaging was still left behind and not disposed.
The air-conditioning wasn’t working well and the room was quite hot, we had to call twice before a technician was sent up to try to adjust it. It still didn’t make any difference.
The curtain in our room fell off while I was trying to draw it on the first night. We got back on the second day to still find it on the floor.

It is very close to the Asian airport, and there is a slope to the hotel. The hotel staff are quite nice, and will take the initiative to help you get your luggage, and the front desk will also help you call a taxi. The hygiene is also good, but the most complained thing about the hotel is the restaurant, which is very bad, avoid it.

The hotel is located in the Asian region. The service is very good. I had problems and they were handled immediately. The room was very clean and the breakfast was good. I will go there again next time.

i think this hotel is one of the best choice if you travel to Tuzla or Pendik. It's really nice people here and also room is clean enough.

The hotel environment is nice, but there is nothing to do nearby. The service is terrible. I called twice to ask for a room but they couldn't deliver it. The spa had empty rooms but they told me that they couldn't do the treatment I wanted today because it was cheaper.

The location is excellent, and I got a free upgrade to a sea view room. The service is friendly, I will come again next time. It is not far from the port. If you come from Istanbul New Airport, it will be a little far. But the locals are still very enthusiastic, and I like the people in this area.
