Hotels in Kocaeli

Our stay was fantastic overall, with just a couple of minor hiccups. The overhead shower wasn't working, and the handheld shower was a bit too low for comfort. Plus, the water temperature fluctuated quite a bit.

The beach is right outside the door, the gym has a swimming pool and sauna, and the breakfast is excellent. Highly recommended!

Beautiful hotel. Excellent staff.

I had an amazing stay at Tryp by Wyndham Izmit! Everything from the location, cleanliness, service, to the facilities was excellent. The room was clean and cozy, and the staff were friendly and professional. We especially enjoyed the pool and gym—perfect for relaxing after a long day. I stayed here with friends, and we all had a great time. This hotel truly made our trip unforgettable. I would definitely...

It is city hotel, good quality for that price . Check in takes time . Otherwise everthing is okay.

The room is good not wow. If there is a wedding you will hear the music in your room until 12 am. The receptionists are very rude. They didn't even look at you if you came. No one helps you to take the trolley of the bags! We pushed it ourselves to the rooms!

Everything was Fantastic, i had probably the best weekend in my life… I‘m planning to come here again. I can definitely recommend this Place! I had the Suit with sea view and i really enjoyed, The Rooftop Restaurant and Bar is also recommended, i also enjoyed the Bar in Lobby drinking tea very cozy place. great food and drinks with also amazing view! You don’t feel here like „your home“ but more like...

Nice location and great views of the rooms. Staff and services are excellent. The hotel condition is getting old specially bathrooms which require renovations.

That is a 5 Star Hotel. Everywhere in the hotel was very clean. It is located seaside of İzmit Gulf and the view is outstanding! You can see and enjoy the whole Gulf view. Personnel was very kind and the foods were in high quality and very delicious.

A top-notch hotel very close to the sea. Clean and tidy. Staff and reception are friendly and welcoming, and the food is excellent. Special praise to the staff at the SPA center, who are exceptionally professional, friendly, and cheerful.

This is my second time staying here, and both experiences have been very satisfying. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The spa area is clean and well-maintained. The rooms are well-equipped with everything you might need, and the towels and bedding are fresh and soft. I was also very pleased with the restaurant and bar service; the food was delicious. Its close proximity to the beach made for a...

When I booked my stay online, I couldn't see any options for breakfast or other meals, so I wasn't able to select them. Upon arrival, I informed the front desk staff about this. I was then charged an additional fee for breakfast, which amounted to a quarter of my total accommodation cost. I found the whole breakfast situation to be quite unsatisfactory.

Staff was kind, room clean, breakfast good quality

Amazing location The place were so good and friendly. All the front desk employees were very polite and helpful.

The hotel is quite old and clean

I was bot expecting the room to be like how i have seen, old furnitures in yhe bedrooms i also request a balcony that inhave not had in my room what i have paid for. Down stairs walking reception is all loooking over the top star but when it comes to rooms are not at all!! Was disappointed.

The lady at the front desk remembers her English very well and her service was very polite.

Nice rooms, clean. Too bad the staff does not speak English! Amazing view in the room we had, on the third floor.

Ramada Izmit – Hotel Review Ramada Izmit used to be one of the best hotels in the Izmit region; however, it now feels tired and in need of refurbishment. One of the biggest issues is the pillows, which unfortunately are very hard and uncomfortable. This has been a recurring problem across Ramada hotels and is the main reason I stopped choosing this brand. In addition, there was an unpleasant smell...

Upon arrival, we were disappointed by the lack of assistance with our luggage, especially as two staff members observed us struggling. The hallway carpets also made navigating with bags quite challenging. However, the rooms themselves were lovely and clean. A standout experience was the breakfast staff, who were incredibly helpful; despite us arriving late, they still served us and even brought out...

It's amazing and he's got no fault at all

5 star in every thing Ilove it

We were there in January 2025. Good service, varied breakfast. The spa is not very convenient with a public corridor between the sauna and the pool

The room was clean, the reception was very kind, the breakfast was good.

Classic, traditional and still very outdated resort! Need huge maintenance & renovations. Good location for trying our cold weather, it was 13-15 C degree in June, in winter season it is full of snow

The location of the hotel is great. One hour distance to Istanbul mountain climbing distance is around 4 to 5 km easy to reach. The hotel is usually very crowded at weekends so I would advise you to book at working days Price is including room, breakfast and dinner. The restaurant is clean and has a lot of options. You will probably like the food. The rooms are quite old furnished, but clean if you...

Overall a good place to stay 1 or 2 days max , Murat is the best employee in the hotel very respectful and so helpful he really made my stay fantastic

The hotel location, room, cleaning staff, and chef are all good. However, the 3rd class food served on plates in the cafe is bad.

Escaped from the heat near the beach . Touched the clouds all around the place . Best of the best place ever and never. If you look for 17C in August , this is the place for sure .

Me and my wife stayed for 3 nights. The hotel was generally quiet. There weren't many activities. You can have a good time in the lobby bar, accompanied by the fireplace. I regret that I cannot give a good review for the food. it was very amateur and simple food. Our best satisfaction is Mr. Erdi, the waiter who always welcomes us with a smile and sends us off with a smile. His helpfulness and friendliness...

Good location, close to amenities

The hotel is very nice, the room claean and comfortable, the located from the bus station also near, and strategy from Mall centre and restaurants around, but unfortunately i can’t get my include breakfast because already close at 10.30 and without any confirmation from me sinced i checked in, So with disappointment I missed my breakfast which I had already paid for when making the reservation.

Next to a mall, far from city center

Everything was good, staff need to smile!

There weren't enough choices for breakfast on our 2nd day. I think they were not ready for the amount of people who had their breakfast

Great experience. Breakfast is very varied, staff very helpful. I got a room at the 9th floor and could enjoy the gym which is located in the pavement but we'll equipped. Cleanliness was perfect.

Broken shower tap, water not draining in the shower tray. Had to change the room on the 2nd day. New room bathroom door was not closing so had to adjust the brackets myself because the screws were loose. One of the shower tray’s door was missing in the new room 🤔.

Good service, clean and sanitary, convenient transportation, long-distance buses and trains

A good hotel. They have very good breakfast open buffet every day.

I booked a non-smoking room. However, they gave me a room very smelly room, and the air conditioning was very noisy. I had to talk to the receptionist, and they changed my room the next day. I encountered another problem at the hotel. I parked at the parking lot at night, and in the morning, I was trapped by two cars I couldn't get out of, but thank God the receptionist helped me.

It's my go to place whenever I visit İzmit, lovely staff with great hygiene. I highly recommend it

+ Location is perfect: it's very close to cafe and restaurants. bus staion is also very close (250 m distance on walking) - rooms are not perfect; a little bit small, old. staff is also not enough

Enjoying Stay & Very Kind Staff

I stay in this hotel for straight 2 days and I could say I enjoyed every single moment of it. Nice location, beautiful view and clean rooms. People who working there are polite, friendly helpful. They helped us on multiple cases so thank you!

Breakfast was very poor. Noone speak English. But in general was nice

We stayed as a family. Especially the suite rooms are a wonderful place with a view of the sea and the pool. They even brought the evening tea from the teapot to the room. Thank you from the double royal hotel manager to the staff.

nice and clean hotel to rest , amazing swimming people, but restaurant could be better and less expansive ... not easy to pay with C.B. ...

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Asya did a great job, give her a bonus $

This is the best hotel in all of Turkey, period. The rooms were always clean, breakfast was delicious, the staff was very helpful at all times, water and chocolates were complimentary and there were a lot of shops and restaurants nearby for covering all our needs. Our group was an all vegetarian group and the kitchen staff made a lot of efforts to make great quality vegetarian food for us. We also...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sarajevo Suit Hotel at Gebze and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the entire stay. I stayed with my two year old granddaughter Amara who the entire staff treated like a star. I felt safe welcomed and wished we could...

Clean and quiet, but noise and detergent perfume are a problem The room was comfortable and clean, the staff was attentive; however, an excessive amount of heavily perfumed detergent was used in cleaning the room and towels and sheets, there was an annoyingly intense detergent smell, it did not disperse despite airing the room and caused allergies at night. In addition, unfortunately, there was an...

Place was okay. Spacious and clean inside (glass windows and doors should be cleaned tho) but some basic amenities should be replaced or improved. Like the bedside lamp switches are broken, kitchen exhaust not working and bathroom/toilet would be nice if they install an exhaust fan. The staff were very friendly, especially the cook was very accommodating.

Love their Turkish coffee 👍 Nice city view 🤓 We stayed for four days at this Hotel. It is very central and close to shopping and dining 🤣👍 Large Windows/doors with nice city view and natural light. All staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is not fancy, but good 😊 Good size kitchen in the apartment. Comfortable firm bed, but not king size. WiFi not reliable 🤓

The us very good and nice and always clean and hygiene All what you want is always available

So tasty food recipe n cool place in the evening! Loved it.

Nice hotel for short stays. The breakfast is good but there is no variety. Unfortunately the rooms are very sensitive so you can listen to the conversations. In the restaurant on the 4th floor you have a nice view over the city. The staff in the hotel and in the restaurant is very friendly. The food is good and inexpensive.

Great place and ritzy for the price... Although with the exchange rate of USD to TL I can live like a king. Still... Nice room, courteous staff. And a nice, but expensive bar...

I used a hotel search engine and got this for 200TL ... Bed and breakfast. Have to say it was excellent value. Nice restaurant on the 4th floor and a nice kebab restaurant next door (ocakbaşı). Take your choice... both are very good.

I imagine the property to once be an amazing hotel but found it to now be a little tired & maybe in need of updating. Staff were extremely helpful & friendly, especially the young lady at reception. Pool looked amazing but for me the room was a little hot but thats just personal preference. Over all a fairly nice stay thank you all.

There was no dusting or proper cleaning.. wifi didn't work.. the television didn't work and the bedding had holes in it.

Thank you for everything, I'll come again.

The double room only had one towel and one pair of slippers. We had to buy them later. The shampoo and shower gel in the shower cubicle smelled very, very bad. It was absolutely nauseating. The breakfasts were delicious. The staff were friendly.

The best features of this hotel are its proximity to several restaurants and eateries and the buffet breakfast, which was limited but sufficient. My room was comfortable, but I would not call this hotel 4-star. It used to be. It is a bit worn down and is now a 3-star. Staff were friendly and helpful, though.

Staff polite, room clean , property needs maintenance.

Good location, normal rooms. The pool which is on the pictures in the website does not work. Be careful about the air... There is a petrol station and a car wash too close to the entrance of the hotel and its windows. The air smells of petrol :-(

Pleasant stay with very nice reception guy who speaks english very well and very helpful. I will be back

Nice hotel in the pictures. It was good when it was built. Breakfast is very poor. He is terribly unanimous from a European point of view. The staff is polite, kind and helpful.

Biz evcil hayvanımızla seyahat ettik, otelin konumu, olanakları, odamızı çok beğendik herkes müthiş cana yakındı ve ilgiliydi

We liked everything. Beautiful surroundings quiet and weather was fantastic.Hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. Murat helped us a lot and we are very grateful to him. Will definitely recommend Canyon to friends.

The Canyon Restaurant Hotel is a magical escape in the heart of nature—beautiful tree houses nestled in a forest with a river flowing beneath them. It’s peaceful and safe, with breathtaking views, especially in the morning and during sunset. We were kindly given an upgrade to a room with a Jacuzzi and a beautiful forest view, which made the stay even more special. The staff were amazing—friendly, helpful...

The best restaurant in the mountains. Here you get fresh air and a beautiful view of turkish nature at its best!

Great place for nature lovers. Friendly staff, they speak English.

No ventilation at bathroom at all

The service and attention were sufficient. Smiling faces, etc., and amenities are sufficient; you don't need much else. The equipment, hygiene products, etc., are all complete. The smart TV, air conditioning, and hot water are all working perfectly. The breakfast is extensive and filling.

We were just passing through, so for that price we shouldn't be too demanding. A one-night break was acceptable. Right in the city center, all the shops and malls are nearby. We were driving, and there was a car park near the hotel (100m) (150 tl / 24h)

Old hotel, very noisy, air conditioning and street. Very brief breakfast. Very good location in the city center

Good value for money. Better than I expected.

This hotel is very nice location in the middle market but not clean

The hotel is nice but nothing special. Breakfast has a lot of variety and the beds are good but the toilet did not flush in my room.

Cenedag has a great Location in center of Izmit where you can visit every where by walking around

Good basic hotel. Clean but small rooms, nice breakfast and friendly staff. Easy walk to the train station and lots of basic restaurants. Tough to find a place to park. I only gave it 4 stars for facilities because the shower vent did not have a cover.

The hotel is located in the city center of Izmit. It is a bit old and run down, so from this point of view it needs improvement. You have a small fridge and AC in the room. The receptionist was kind and changed the room to get a quiet one, with light working. There's paid parking in front of the hotel on the street, but you have a cheaper ottopark a few hundred meters away in a multi-storey parking...

Izmit visit The Lift is not from the ground floor to the last floor, it starts from the first floor and ends at the 5th floor. My room is on the 6th floor. The receptionist was helpful and invaluable. His name is 'Umat', and he carries all my bags up the stairs to my room. I have disability and their help was crucial. The hotel location is excellent, with many shops and restaurants in the area. No...

The most positive aspect is that it is close to the bus stop and tram to the airport.

We chose this hotel based on the photos and the low price. In reality, it turned out that the hotel and the room were very old and dirty. There was a lot of smoking in the room before us, although the order was for non-smokers. The smell of cigarettes and alcohol in the elevator and room. We had to not use the shower and sleep in our clothes for fear of dirty bed linen

Conveniently near center of Izmit, we had a one night stay here as we wanted to visit several places in the area, the room is spacious and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Hotel location is not that bad the hotel. Easy to find with free parking. I was surprised with suit size, it was huge "as an apartment". Not to mention Mr. Ahmet, if I remember his name correctly, he was very gentle and helped us with all that we needed. "Thank you, ahmet." The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. But we had to choose between two suites we picked the bigger one, however...

Friendly staff and very clean. Everything was arranged before we arrived (baby bed).

Hotel staff was very friendly and always smiling, the hotel is not new but they are taking very well care of it and making it like new from inside.

Hotel at the outskirts of izmit. Free parking at the back of the hotel. Easy to find. Room was apartment styled. Ensuite room with queen sized bed and separate huge living room/kitchen where the single beds and sofa bed were placed in. Air conditioning was good to cool the whole place. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable enough. Water pressure from shower was good Decent breakfast in the morning...

Very good for family with kids, kitchen good, a little messy, but ok. Big apartment, good breakfast

We stayed between June 30th and July 1st. If we hadn't looked at what was written here, we definitely wouldn't have come; thankfully, I didn't make that mistake. Let me explain the pros and cons as far as I observed. I used the Otelz website to book the hotel; no deposit was taken, and I didn't experience any problems. The location is very central; we used the sidewalk in front of the hotel for parking...

Royal ramblas hotel is good place to stay the location is good the rooms are clean the furniture looks good the only problem that faced me in the beginning of my stay is the weekness of the water but fourtnely they fixed it after that .

It was a spur-of-the-moment vacation, especially since I have a small baby, so cleanliness and warmth were important to me. Our room was spotless, and even though it was very cold, the heater was blazing hot when we entered. There's a small garden, which was enough for us. The management is also very friendly and genuine. I think that's the most important thing I look for in a boutique hotel like this...

Very clean rooms and food, and very good service with great location and the people working there are really kind and hospitable.

A peaceful hotel surrounded by greenery- perfect for a business trip. The hotel is located right next to a park, in a beautiful green setting that creates a relaxing atmosphere. Although the infrastructure shows signs of age, the room was clean. The staff were exceptionally polite and caring, always ready to help and fully committed to ensuring every guest’s comfort. This place offers peace and everything...

My experience is delightful. Helpful staff and would recommend for those who loves lush green place, chirping birds inside park and near sea shore. Those who have kid/s, it's amazing place as they will have lot to enjoy.

Good and peaceful place but there is railway besides it

Nicely placed near team/train station and the beautiful corniche

Nice place, good conference room with the exception of the pillar in the middle of the room.

beautiful old style place but worse service ever i saw... food was not bad but tea was horrible.
