Ramada Izmit – Hotel Review Ramada Izmit used to be one of the best hotels in the Izmit region; however, it now feels tired and in need of refurbishment. One of the biggest issues is the pillows, which unfortunately are very hard and uncomfortable. This has been a recurring problem across Ramada hotels and is the main reason I stopped choosing this brand. In addition, there was an unpleasant smell in the corridor, which further affected the overall comfort of the stay. The location is still good, but the hotel would benefit greatly from upgrading bedding and improving maintenance and housekeeping standards.

Upon arrival, we were disappointed by the lack of assistance with our luggage, especially as two staff members observed us struggling. The hallway carpets also made navigating with bags quite challenging. However, the rooms themselves were lovely and clean.

A standout experience was the breakfast staff, who were incredibly helpful; despite us arriving late, they still served us and even brought out juice after packing it up.

Their exceptional service truly turned our experience around, and we left feeling happy, though the reception staff could certainly improve.

We stayed here overnight, and as with most of our Ramada experiences, everything went well. The breakfast was excellent, the room was clean, and almost everything we needed was there. The service was excellent, and the staff was professional. There's ample parking, some of it indoors. There's also a nice café if you want to relax. The pool and gym are also good if you needed to use them. The location is also ideal, in the city center and close to the main attractions. The lack of complimentary water was a bit odd and unusual, unlike other Ramada hotels.

We were there in January 2025. Good service, varied breakfast. The spa is not very convenient with a public corridor between the sauna and the pool

The best quality hotel in the Izmit area.
It has a large parking lot and there are many local restaurants nearby, so it is very good for dinner when on a business trip.
The breakfast in the hotel is of a very high quality and the hotel facilities are also well-equipped, including a sauna, swimming pool, and gym.
