Tamara Business Otel in Antalya

The only positive thing about this hotel is its location, which is convenient and close to many attractions. Unfortunately, everything else was extremely disappointing. The level of cleanliness was tragic – dirty floors, dust everywhere, and even broken curtains hanging in the rooms. The bathrooms were old and damaged, clearly in need of renovation. The food was of very poor quality and did not meet even basic standards. On top of that, the noise made it very difficult to rest. Overall, I cannot recommend this place to anyone, despite its good location.

Hotel is totally filthy, the lobby and restaurant floors are so sticky and dirty its looks like the last time they were washed was ages ago. Horrible smell in the bedroom bathroom, cloged sink and unclean bathroom. Filthy aircondition you start sneezing switching it on and a dusty curtain in the room you get an infection from touching it. Staff do not speak or understand english at all. This is not a 4 star hotel at all but a filthy 1 star hotel. Pics on the internet do not show the real status of this hotel.

Went to this hotel with my family and I would not recommend this to anyone. The room had 1 double bed and 3 single beds, but the bathroom was not adequate for a family. It was very small and very dirty, and the smell was horrendous. We had to keep the light on which kept the fan on to extract the bad smell. The doors do not close and have to be slammed. Once closed, I had to push the door to engage the lock but my wife and children could not do this so the bathroom door was never locked throughout week. This was to all the doors in our room!!! I noticed this to be the case in other rooms as we could hear people constantly banging doors. This was very annoying especially at night. I don’t think the walls have proper insulated as you could hear other guests’ conversations. My wife asked the reception for a iron and was advised the hotel only has 1 iron and they would get this over to us in an hour. The following morning my wife asked again, and we were advised to go across the road and buy one from the mall. As we are a family of 5, we thought it would be best if we just bought one rather than getting in the hassle of using 1 iron between all the guests at the hotel. This was the first day!! The room was very dirty, so we requested the room to be cleaned. The following morning, my wife and daughters noticed some makeup missing from their makeup bags which where pit in the cupboard. The makeup were from top brands and expensive. Once ready, we went down to the reception and asked for the manager. This was on a Sunday and we were told to come back in the morning as no manager work on the weekends. The following day, the manager advised this was the first time anything had been stolen and he would get the police and look into the cctv. He assured us not to worry but to wait till Wednesday. We had to leave on Saturday morning and on Thursday we were handed over a note from the reception who advised us to contact the police ourselves as they could not help us with the theft. As we where on holiday and we did not want to ruin our holiday, we did not take any further action. On that Sunday when we noticed the stolen makeup, the same cleaner knocked our door and asked for the iron. We told her this was ours which we bought from the mall. We placed the iron in the cupboard and this proved she had been in the cupboard, going through our belongings. This was very disturbing. This was also notified to the management, but they still did nothing to compensate us. This is very shocking as we travel to Turkey every year and nothing has been stolen before. We had to constantly lock our luggage every time we left the room. Me and my family regularly travel and of course things do happen but Tamara Business Hotel has to be the worsts hotel ever. We asked the reception for two extra pillows and it took 2 days of constant visit to the reception to have this done. Myself and my wife had our flight cancelled and found ourselves in this hotel overnight courtesy of Turkish Airlines. I am truly sorry that we didn’t just sleep in the Airport Terminal! Immediately on walking in, you know this is not a nice place. Worn carpet on the stairs, rooms with no windows, stained linen, no tv remote batteries and general unclean and smelly place. I can honestly say that this is the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in! Felt unsafe and definitely did not eat breakfast. One shining light was the young lady in reception, who helped us with a problem and rang the airport constantly for us. She is truly wasted in this hotel and someone should snap her up with a job offer!

Although it is in the centre of Antalya and it has stars, we were disappointed when we met the scene of our room and bathroom. First of all, there is no shower head in the bathroom. Second, the room is airless. Third, during breakfast, they told us, some food has finished but while we were having breakfast we could see that they served some people those food they had already finished. Besides, coffee machine and juice machine are out of order. Cheese are so salty. Moreover, they didn't change sheets and towels and they didn't put new shampoo and gel in the next morning when we left. Last but not least, the staff are so ignorant and rude. They cannot speak English.
