Gunduz Hotel in Antalya

:AVOID THIS BAD-QUALITY HOTEL
We did not find the hotel to match our criteria of a good or at least a decent hotel. The room was extremely dirty (the towels, the bedsheets, there were previous guests’ hair and drink/food splatters everywhere etc.). The hotel also seemed to have a cockroach issue since we saw one cockroach on our hotel room’s bed and another immediately outside our room in the hallway. Only one person from the hotel staff spoke English, but some of the staff truly tried to make our stay more pleasant. However, we definitely do not recommend this hotel to anyone. The price point is high for such a poor-quality hotel.

NOT SAFE AND NOT HELPFULL STAFF! DO NOT TRUST THE REWIEVS. We did, and we regret it. If it was possibble - I would not even give one star for this «hotel», but I feel the need to warn others who consider this hotel. We were supposed to stay at Gündüz Otel for 7 nights but after seeing the small dirty room with no lock we could not stay in this very small room. The staff did not speak english and they would not give us a new room. Because we read the reviews beforehand and were three people traveling, we asked for a non-smoking room and a bigger room. When we first got there the staff could not understand any language, but turkish, and we needed to use google translate to ask for basic needs. The room were dirty. There were hair on the pillows, the towels and bedsheets had dirty marks and the bathroom looked like they had never been cleaned. The last straw was the locks. They could not be locked, and we concluded quickly that a room without a lock is not safe for three girls in that nabourhood. So IF YOU CARE ABOUT SAFTEY DO NOT STAY HERE!

Do not trust the ratings! We were three grils looking forward to a week in Antalya, but was highly let down when we came to this place. The room and bathroom were dirty. The bedsheets and towels were dirty. And the doors did not lock. The rooms were not like in the pictures online! We asked the staff to try and look at the locks, but they could not do anything untill the next day. In this nabourhood we did not feel safe to stay at this place without being able to lock the doors. We had to just get out of there right away, and find a different hotel. The staff did not speak english, and could not give us any documentation of our stay. Do not stay here.
